Such a cute local food truck vibe! Kaʻala Kitchen uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients and offers everything from sandwiches to plates to salads. My friend got the Country Sandwich on gluten-free bread and absolutely loved it ! I had the shrimp stir fry and they were super accommodating with my food allergies. It honestly hit the spot! Not super busy, plenty of space to sit, and a very relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for a chill spot with great local food on Oʻahu, definitely go try it out!

Healthy, delicious, & tasty food served in a relaxing (albeit a bit too windy- blew my plate away) and beautiful environment. The chicken. Sandwich was scrumptious and so was the vine salad. Prices were a bit higher than advertised as the average dish was approximately $25 not $16 which was a bit steeper then we hoped for outdoor shack lunch but it was all amazing quality & delicious!

Wasn’t sure what to expect but this place did not disappoint. Definitely another go to place to eat when in Waialua. We had the Brazilian Kine plate, salad(dressing is light and easy to eat), rice with the sprinkle on top for flavor, beans and side order French fries. Yummy.

My tastebuds are doing a happy dance!

The fish sandwich was the star of the show – juicy, flaky, and perfectly seasoned. The slaw was bomb biggity.

The fries were shoe string crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside,

And the lemonade was the perfect thirst quencher.
So refreshing, with the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Everything came out hot and fresh, and the flavors really hit the spot.

The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly.

I loved the ambiance of shaded outdoor seating.
Plenty parking.

Can’t wait to come back and try more!
I saw breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
People came in for dine in and take out.
Highly recommend!
This place is a must-try!

Wow! One of the best plates of food since I’ve been here! Had the swordfish with capers, rice and a salad with their house-made tahini dressing. This food actually made me smile 🙂

Food was great, catch of the day was blue Marlin cooked perfectly in my opinion. A good helping of rice and fries came with it. Counter service so hard to rate and you eat outside so atmosphere also hard to rate. Would definitely go again

I am so glad they remodeled this whole space and made it more welcoming and inviting on top of serving great food with fresh ingredients!

I’ve seen the transformation of the space and I was looking forward to trying their food and finally my daughter and I went yesterday evening for dinner and got their avocado toast ( highly recommend), Vibes salad with dressing ( I would prefer a more simple salad, but for a more sophisticated salad, this one is definitely a good one), and a Haleiwa sandwich which is also amazing!

It was hard to pick a food item because all of their items are so good and they have a three page menu from toast to salads and sandwiches and more.

My favorite part after the food is the inviting space and artsy vibe inside their shop and throughout the space. Parking is easy, conveniently located in Waialua by the sugar mill. Do recommend and plan to come back!

The food was some of the best we’ve had on the island since we moved here. Relaxing atmosphere, off the beaten path, not right in the tourist area. They had cute photo ops and a nice patio. Would liked to have had a high chair for my baby, they didn’t have any. Other than that, very kid friendly. The service is window walk up service, not a sit down restaurant. Love the food, will be back for sure.

2 @ fish sandwiches and 2 fries, no drinks with tax, tip, surcharge, cost $77.66. Food is very good but there is no service and you sit outdoors with the flies and chickens to dine. Order your food at the counter, then they call you to come get your food served on a cutting board, then you clean up after you”re done eating, like I said “no service”. I wouldn’t have tipped if I knew I had to do part of the work. You can get a whole lot more for $77.00 at many other restaurants….you decide?
