Me and my boss were passing through town at 12 NOON. Decided to stop for lunch. There were about 8 people were drinking at the bar, and about 6 others were at tables either eating already or about to order. So we got some menus and was told about the “specials” for the day. We both got the hamburger steak “special”. Maybe I’m confused on the meaning of “our specials”, I always thought that meant it was easy for them to do and quick. Nope, just under 45min had past before we got the “specials”. Definitely not worth the wait, dry unseasoned hamburger steak, mushy greens beans, 2 deepfried hashbrown patties and some toast. $9 and 45mins waisted. Will NOT be back.

Went for the breakfast buffet they have on Sundays. Was fairly busy, not the greatest tasting food, but the French toast and pancakes were worth it.

Amazing breakfast buffet! The food here is awesome and you can’t beat the prices. Everything is more than a reasonable price here, better than any other restaurant you can find. Especially for how delicious the food is Just a tip: know that if you need service don’t be afraid to go to them instead of waiting until they come to you. They will be more than happy to assist you!

Don’t waste your time here if you’re not a local. Sat at the bar for lunch and it took 15 minutes just to be recognized when it wasn’t even that busy. I finally was able to order and got the special which was a simple pork commercial. After I ordered 2 other people came to the bar and ordered right away and they also ordered the commercial and they got their food immediately. I waited a bit thinking mine would be right after. Nope. Waited a little longer and then the bartender came and asked me what I ordered again. I told her not to worry about it and left. Sad thing is I had the same service a year ago but figured it was just a fluke. Won’t stop here again.

Wow…is all I can say. This was likely the worst service I have ever had. 7 of us came for lunch and it was an absolute disaster. My bloody mary came in a 5 oz water glass…where did the other half to 2/3rds go. Our drink orders were all wrong and then our simple burger food order took 30-45 mins to get. 3 people got their food first, then about the time the 1st 3 finished the food came for the other 3, the other guys food was just forgotten. Most of the orders were wrong, almost all came with steak fries when we all ordered differently. The extras we asked for were forgotten. Had to ask for cocktail sauce for the shrimp. Had to go up to the bar to get drink orders because no one came to our table. And lastly we had to ask for a check 4 times, the last time we asked she said she thought she had brought it to us, which she never did and just gave me a verbal total for the group.

7 8 bucks for a meal. Can get half orders.
Which is nice if don’t want to eat a full meal of the special of the day for less money.

Having not been there since my drinking years. I must say very attractive, didn’t really get a chance to notice it’s fine establishment then. I guess I really don’t remember much about those days. I must say that Tommy is just as good a cook as everyone says. And of coarse Anie miss you guys…

It’s a small town bar in rural Minnesota with great staff and the biggest burger I’ve had in a long time! Drinks were well made and food was yummy!
