K Snack Shack is packed with all the best local and imported snacks you could ever want. From li hing everything to Japanese candies and unique drinks, they’ve got it all. The shave ice is always on point and the popcorn is next level.
The shop is clean, the people are friendly, and the vibe just feels local. Every time I’m on Kaua‘i, I gotta stop here to stock up before heading out. A real gem for snack lovers.

K Shack HAS THE BEST SHAVED ICE ON THE ISLAND! We tried a bunch while we were here but nothing compared to how fluffy, light, and tasty it was! The syrups were delicious and asking for a surprise flavor is such a fun way to go! I would tell anyone and everyone they have to try K Shack if you are in Kauai! Can’t wait to go back already!

So much fun! They had awesome snacks available, but we went for shave ice and it was delicious!! Husband got strawberry, coconut, and peach with macadamia nut ice cream underneath, and I got root beer over vanilla ice cream and a snow cap (1up root beer float) They were SUPER nice and friendly and made some great shave ice!

This guy is amazing! He runs this shop himself as a young man and packages almost everything himself! Super sweet. We all (6 of us) got shaved ice and he made it all with a smile! We dined outside and while we were eating, he dropped a bag of furikake popcorn on our table!! Some of the best popcorn I’ve had. If you’re ever in the Kapa’a area and it’s past that normal closing time, give this wonderful young man a chance and roll on in!

This place is bomb! It’s not full of all the typical nasty gas station snacks (although definitely you can find your typical candy bars). They’ve got loads of local and handmade snacks and a bunch of Asian snacks. Fresh popcorn and a good selection of drinks which I’m sure will only increase because they just opened.
Don’t plan on parking there, only two spots. But plenty of parking around the corner or in the street. Great stop when walking downtown Kapaa, nice people.

This is a hidden gem in Kapaa- a must-stop place for snacks before heading to the beach. The shave ice is the best in town- lots of flavors, tons of toppings, and a generous amount used, so that you really get a flavorful bite all the way through. We also bought some unusual candies and other snacks as souvenirs, and it was nice to see both healthy options, local things like dried bananas, and candy and junk food all in one place. Great service too!
