Tiny family-run hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant in Burlingame, in the business plaza directly across from the Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. They serve the traditional tofu soups, sizzling plates, and noodles. Not much banchan to speak of, and the frankly the food tasted very average. Efficient service. Large free parking lot, but fills up fast during peak meal hours.

Forget the service. Forget the atmosphere. You go to K-Noodle because you genuinely love Korean comfort food. Despite the restaurant being called “noodle”, they sell everything. And I’ve lived in the Bay Area for a long time but never have I found a Korean comfort joint that is truthful to its roots, great quality food and ingredients, nails the taste, and even brings in a flair of their own innovation.

K-Noodle is in a weird inner corner and the joint is a small. Not that many tables. The amenities and utensils are basic at best. The entire place feels hollow. The server, who also prepares the takeout food, gets super busy because with this caliber food, no wonder they are popular. But then, they should hire one more person. So things are slow. But again, this is not why you visit K-Noodle.

The food is sublime. Make sure you try the selloengtang noodles. This is the beef oxtail broth and typically Koreans eat this with rice. But they’ve made this soup into a broth for noodles. And they didn’t skim on anything. Plenty of thickness, plenty of ox tail meat. It seriously is wonderful. And I can attest that no where else in the Bay Area would you get this dish. These are not your glass noodles that is thin. This is a proper noodle bowl. Priced at $20, I think this may be the best bowl of noodle you can get in the entire Peninsula. I seriously mean this. Just with this one bowl of noodle, K-Noodle gets a 5-star.

But then there are other Korean classics like the extra crispy chicken wings, which was amazing. We did the honey flavor. You will not regret. The tteogboggi was okay but I can’t comment because I couldn’t eat much due to the wonderful noodles. And the seasoned seaweed rice again was great.

K-Noodle blew my mind away with its taste, variety, and authentic Korean flavors. This is my new comfort food go-to. Will be returning frequently.

Found this when I look for Korean restaurant that serve noodle soup. This restaurant is next to hospital which I think in a good location. Next to it is boba shop which I saw some customer went to the the boba shop after their meals.
The interior is very simple, with couple tables and the dishes photo all over the wall which looks inviting.
The menu is pretty complete with many varieties of Korean dishes. We order Spicy Seafood noodle soup and Stir fried noodles with black bean sauce.
They give 3 type of banchan, daikon, beansprout and kimchi. The kimchi is sweet and later I saw it is from a big jar that you can get from grocery store. I wish they make it fresh in the restaurant. At least if have it from jar, don’t show the jar.
The noddle soup is yummy but not spicy. the Stir fried noodle is served with hot iron plate. the presentation is good but I just feel it is too sweet.
The server is very nice and very energetic. Only one server serves all the tables.
Overall it was ok meals. May be next time we will try other dishes and wish they make the kimchi in house.

I was just grabbing my boba tea next door and happened to walk by this Korean restaurant, so I decided to give it a try.
The noodles were super chewy, and the broth was rich and flavorful — the owner said it’s homemade beef bone broth.
We also ordered the fried chicken, which was really crispy and tasty.
It’s located in a big plaza with plenty of parking, so it’s very convenient.
The staff were also very friendly. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

We tried this new store tonight and felt happy about our decision! Their staff added tea frequently and helped to mix the hotpot for us! We will recommend the Korean hotpot with and hand made ramen and rice cake inside. Also, I personally like the taste of their cheesy flavor Hotpot with kinds of sausage and kimchi inside! The soup tastes sooo good ! Will come back again!

Foods were tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. Shop can only seats about 30 people max. Average about $20 per dish. Consider bit high to me

Interestingly this is Korean food from Yanbian which is basically an area in China where many previously North Koreans live.
If you know Korean food well it’s slightly different but as this is almost a Korean quick bite restaurant you shouldn’t expect too much difference. It’s not a bbq place just a place where you can get a decent quick and relatively inexpensive lunch or dinner.
The food is good enough and both service and atmosphere is decent enough. It won’t blow your socks off but is good enough for you to come back. They have most of the stable food such as fried chicken, noodles and mixed rice.
I don’t recommend the army soup but I think both the tofu soup and spicy noodles are decent. Once again manage your expectation and you will like this no frill restaurant. I like the location as it’s convenient and has plenty of free parking unless the nearby Millbrae downtown or the Burlingame downtown.
There is a version of spicy seafood noodle that comes with beef ribs but somehow the waiter brought me the seafood only one.
The banchan side dishes only has three items but they are very fresh and delicious.

Food and prices were okay. Based on the name I expected korean dishes, but the flavors were more like generic stir-fried dishes. Some menu items didn’t match what was actually served.

Such a hidden gem! Really delicious food, affordable with great portion sizes. Service was kind and attentive and you can really tell they care. Rice cakes and noodles are so chewy and satisfying. The honey wings were really perfect. My husband had never had Korean-Chinese food and was sold.
