We had a delicious dinner of BLT, fries, Tofu Thai salad, and soup with cornbread. All of it was phenomenal – highly recommend! The owner/chef was so helpful and kind. Glad we stopped on our road trip north!

If you are near Westerville in Columbus, you must be sure to stop at “I Can’t Believe It’s Vegan,” a vegan restaurant that lives up the name! It is hard, in fact, to believe that the food is vegan, it is that good!
We had the Chik’n Wings and the Angel Hair Chik’n Pasta. The wings were amazing — crispy on the outside and tender/chewy on the inside. They came with 2 sauces; we picked Buffalo and jerk. An excellent appetizer!
The pasta was just as good, generously loaded with all kinds of delicious vegetables cooked to perfection: peppers, onions, mushrooms, baby spinach, basil and plant-based chicken, then generously topped with Parmesan. My only regret is that I didn’t order another serving to go for dinner.
We also had a chance to meet the owner/chef, Clayton. We enjoyed talking with him about the restaurant and how it started and the creative process of coming up with unforgettable dishes.
I Can’t Believe It’s Vegan will definitely be on my itinerary any time I am in Columbus.

We ordered the gluten-free chickpea pasta, the tofu Budda bowl and the rice balls. The portions were large and so we had leftovers which is great. The chickpea pasta was absolutely delicious. I didn’t care much for the side salad (romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, shredded carrots) I’m not a fan of romaine based salads, but the avocado dressing was tasty. I was slightly annoyed that the chickpea pasta came with vegan chicken that was not gluten free and there was no option to substitute a gluten free protein for instance tofu. Other than that our experience was great. The cashier/waitress was extremely kind, offered us soup samples and checked up on us at decent intervals. Oh and the seasoned fries were delicious!

We ate here this afternoon for the first time. This was a lovely experience. The 2 young ladies at the front of the store were very sweet and kind in there roles. The restaurant was very clean. The food we tried was delicious! I had the Italian “sausage” lasagna rolls and my husband had the “Cheese steak” hoagie. We also had dessert. I posted pictures of all the items we tried. We enjoyed every single item we ordered. After we ate most of our food, Clayton, the owner came out to talk with us and ask us how our food was. What a delightful man to interact with. Thank you Clayton for a lovely experience at a new restaurant for us. May God bless you and your business adventures.

Today was my first time at Can’t Believe It’s Vegan and I got the pleasure of meeting Clayton! While looking over the menu, he offered a sample of the soup of the day (broccoli cheddar).. which was so good! After ordering, he let me sample some Mac and cheese and gave me a piece of cornbread (best cornbread I’ve ever had btw). I could tell he really puts love into his cooking so I was not surprised at all when I got to eat what I ordered. It was delicious and I devoured it in seconds! So much flavor, all the right textures, and the portion size is so generous. Clayton – you’ve made a regular of me already. Thank you!

I ordered the Spicy Sausage Hoagie and fries. The food was flavorful and it was hot when I arrived to pick it up. There was a bit of a misunderstanding pertaining to my order but it was quickly and professionally resolved. The restaurant was very clean, which is always a plus.

Ok! Let me tell you a story: I drove into Columbus for fashion week, at the end of my day all I wanted was some good HEALTHY food. Turns out they closed before I was able to get there – the next morning I made sure to stop by before getting back on the road to head back to Cleveland. When I went walking happily to the door they weren’t open for another 15 min — so you know what I did : that’s right, I WAITED! I walked in and a smiling gentleman named Clayton greeted me with such warmth and kindness. I asked him his favorites and he said EVERYTHING TWICE! He then proceeded to let me know to take my time and as he patiently waited for me to choose, he offered me a sample of the soup of the day : Greek spiced cauliflower which was SO FLAVORFUL!
I decided on 6 wings : Carolina & Buffalo and a side of Mac and cheese. Of course I couldn’t pass up his cinnamon cake and a sparkling lemonade.
He made my order Fresh, and delivered it to my table with a lovingly presentation. The environment is so peaceful, the service is beyond what I could ever ask for and the look and taste of the food was IMMACULATE!!! And to top everything off : as he checked in to make sure everything was to my liking he blessed me with a sample of his delicious greens ( with a hilarious story to add ) – the vibes, the food and the service at Can’t Believe It’s Vegan are literally top tier.

This place is amazing. The food is so good! The soup of the day always surprises me with a new blend of flavors. Don’t forget the cornbread that comes with the soup. The staff are always friendly and Clayton is just the best
