We had a wonderful lunch in this restaurant. We had a green salad, onion soup, grilled salmon, and New York stripe steak, and side orders of creamy spinach and French fries. Everything was delicious. The best item was the onion soup. The only thing that could be better was the steak. While it was tender, juicy and tasty, it was overcooked. Overall, the food was great, way beyond our expectation.
The service was outstanding. Our waiter was polite, professional and honest (in making recommendations). We understand the 12% service charge included in the bill was paid to the hotel. Therefore, we gave extra gratuities separately to our waiter.
The atmosphere of this restaurant was very good – quiet and elegant.

We dined here on our first night at the Marriot, and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious (I highly recommend the onion soup as a starter ), and our waiter was a lovely man who was very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, pricey but very worth it.

One of my worst experiences with dining, if not the worst. I do not want to sound harsh, but this is a scandal that has to be exposed. We were a dozen of friends, most of us were served the wrong cooking grade, (to be exact 4 of us, which is not mathematically the « most » but 4/12 in a starred restaurant is surely a scandal! To clear one point : mistakes happen, but what ruined our night is the rudeness and ignorance and stubbornness of the Maitre who insisted we’re all wrong and he was right and which added salt on the wound(s) ! He even dated one of my guests that she didn’t ordered a side dish.
It was a nightmare, a scandal and an insult to the gods of culinary ! Shane on you !

We dined here on our first night in Cairo and were not disappointed the steaks were perfectly cooked and so flavourful we particularly enjoyed the mac and cheese side and the cocktails were lovely. Our server was so kind and knowledgeable!

Some of the best steak (if not the best) we have ever eaten. I am shocked that Cairo would produce such amazing steak and was not looking out for it, but stumbled upon it. The sides were also very good. We went back again and recommended our tour group after going. Our wait staff were amazing all around, but Mahmoud Farouk (spelling?) Really left a mark with his humour.
