I would start by suggesting reservations, this location isn’t very large.
Seating: the seating here is classic looking with comfortable chairs and tables and quite layout.
Drinks: good drinks with broad selections of cocktails and wine.
Food: we both did steaks ribeye and filet, done properly medium rare and great sear. The fench onion and bake potatoes were wonderful as well.
Prices are low but they’re on par with the type of food and quality offered. The servers are good.

It is such a luxury to be able to drop in and get a seat in such a fine restaurant. Prime beef and luxurious sides are the feature of JW steakhouse.
The service staff are friendly and, moreover, knowledgeable about each menu item.
We had a fine steak, proceeded by French onion, soup and crabcakes, and followed by perhaps the best crème brûlée we’ve ever had.

We were extremely (pleasantly) surprised by the food and service at this hotel steakhouse. We started with the breadboard, the pretzels were amazing and the butter was delicious! We then had the shrimp in garlic butter appetizer, WOW that was tasty! My husband had the lobster bisque which was served with a mound of lobster in the bowl and the bisque was poured over it at the table. The broth was rich in flavor and velvety, we highly recommend. Next was my sea bass which was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and buttery flesh, my husband had the sea scallops with the olive tapenade which he raved about. We also shared the seasonal Veggie side, it was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. The kitchen is open to the dining room and we could see it was a clean and well oiled machine, it was fun to watch the team work together. Our server was Wonderful, she knew the menu and made great recommendations! Highly recommended you give it a try!

Absolutely delicious! The price is average for a steakhouse, but the portions are so worth it! Crabcake appetizer….DELICIOUS! My husband and I had rib eye, it was cooked perfectly, and the crust was too die for! Baked potato for a side, and it was the largest potato I’ve ever seen, definitely worth the price. My son had shirt ribs and they were the star of the table!! So juicy and full of flavor, MUST GET! My little one had pizza off the kids’ menu, and man, I swear it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted! Our waiter was outstanding as well! If you’re thinking about steak, this place is highly recommended. I will say that i was upset that Oscar style wasn’t an add-on for my steak, but other than that, I will definitely be back again!

I wasn’t expecting much from hotel lobby restaurant, but my dinner was a treat. Lisa was my server, and she was amazing–she was covering a very full section with hustle, competency, and a kind attitude. Despite her having several tables all sat at same time, she timed my meal and service perfectly.
Plus, the food was very good. The steak had a perfect crust and was cooked to a perfect medium. Very impressive.

Update 2025: It’s been some time since I was here. Service has improved, it was faster than 1-2 years ago. Steak was on the same level, if not even a little better than during my last visit. Really good! The only “negative” thing was, that the waiter did not remove my appetizer cutlery, even though I only ordered a steak (main course). I would have thought that the service does this at a supposed “fine dining spot”. Conclusion: Absolute recommendation for steak in the area!

Excellent food and amazing service. We went there for my wifes birthday and the chef complements the seafood and the restaurant gave us the dessert on the house. They have us a private room for the whole family and friendly service with recommendation. They are famous for their meat and seafood.

For me it was a good overall experience, food was good , steak exactly medium well just as I ordered , the tequila drink I did not like , should have gone with the wine , salad was just ok, the shrimp excellent, prices are on the high side , but so is every place in the area next to LAX
