Stopped by Just Poke on a road trip from Vancouver, was really impressed with the quality of the fish here, especially the salmon! So good, had to order an extra side. Clean and spacious place too.

Oh man this place is super good! I love their Poke and Acai bowls here. They have many fresh options to create a unique dining experience each time you visit. They have great staff and seating options!

I do think this location has cleaned things up a bit. That said, it is the slow season right now. I hope they continue improving the flow between DoorDash orders and in-person customers as things pick back up. I still tend to choose the Barkley location due to inconsistency here, but I felt it was important to note that I’ve noticed some positive change and hope they keep it going.
Just Poke always has some level of inconsistency but what really frustrated me today was the handling of in-person vs. DoorDash orders. I waited in a long line for 30 minutes and once I finally got to the front I ended up waiting even longer while they prioritized three or four DoorDash orders ahead of me. Everything is made right there so each bowl takes time and it adds up.
I ended up walking out. It just wasn’t worth it, especially with how hot it was inside. Honestly the heat made me question the food safety of the fish. Just Poké would really benefit from a separate system for online orders like what Chipotle does. The current setup is not working.
