We are visiting South Carolina from Utah. I went looking for the famed Southern pecan pie. I ended up having a wonderful conversation with the owner. We took a coconut custard small pie and apple crumble small pie back to our condo. We enjoyed them over 2 nights, the size is perfect for 2 people. Both were FANTASTIC! The flavors are more than sweet; they are complex and complementary. I enjoyed the experience tremendously.

I haven’t been in there in a few years until just last week I remember always getting great food from there. But the four pastries that I’ve bought last week were all hard as a rock. The lady told me to microwave it for seven seconds lol. I had a microwave for a minute just to be able to start chewing it. I will never go back.

Heard so much about this place when I moved here 3 years ago but didn’t get around to trying it until recently.
I stopped in last week to check it out. Thought I’d order a few things try.
The place is small and not a whole lot of options. All the pies looked kind of small and sloppy.
No signs posted with prices, almost no signs showing what anything is, I asked the girl what a few things were and she said she had no idea and couldn’t tell me what was in anything or the prices of anything.
The one thing I saw saying what it was was sweet potato cake, I decided to get a piece which was a really small square piece. She began ringing me up before I was done selecting and I told her I was going to get a few things, so I asked how much it was just for the sweet potato cake. She told me $12.80. I was in shock and asked are you kidding me $12.80 for that little tiny thing. She said I don’t know I think it’s what it cost and called the owner for me. The owner said it was $7.00 so I got one other thing because I thought the price was ridiculous for such a small piece of cake and didn’t want to have the girl call the owner to ask the price on another item. When the girl was ringing me up, she asked if I was paying cash or card. I told her card and she said it was another two dollar charge for using a card. This just added to the insane prices of the place.
Took the sweet potato cheesecake as well as a pecan cinnamon bun to work and share them with coworkers.
Everything looked good and all my coworkers asked where I got it from. No one had ever been there so I just decided to share what little I had. As soon as we all took a bite everyone ended up spitting out everything. The cinnamon pecan bun tasted like it was two weeks old and was hard as a rock.
Next, we decided to try the sweet potato cake. This also tasted old and nasty. I wouldn’t even call this cake. It’s basically just mashed up sweet potatoes and sugar layered on top of pastry dough
It ended up costing me Almost $19 for a small piece of cake Pecan bun that was old and stale.
Not one person liked it and everyone said I should go back and ask for my money back

Sher-it, or however you spell her name. Was incredibly rude. Cussing at me when I called because she was busy. Okay? And I’m suppose to know that, how…? That doesn’t give you the right to get an attitude when a potential customer calls. If you’re reading this you might want to reevaluate how you treat people especially when it comes to business, because it’s Definitely not a good look to you or your business. I Would never give my money to nasty people like this.

I have eaten from this bakery cinnamon buns, chocolate and banana cream pie, tomato pie, strawberry rhubarb, blueberry turnovers and for thanksgiving a sweet Potatoe pie.
My wife bakes all her pies from scratch, but the sweet potato pie from Jupiter was the BEST sweet Potatoe pie I have ever eaten.
The owner of this bakery is AWESOME!!

Bought my first lemon crumb pie for a dinner party for 4 it was very small & overpriced but I didn’t care I was just looking forward to a delicious pie! It was terrible!! none of us could even eat it! it had a peppery spice to it almost as if it had a ginger spice added to it & when I tried to slice it…it fell apart like pudding, very messy & mushy. it was so embarrassing to say the least When I called to complain the owner didn’t even get back to me I had to call her again aftr waiting a week to give her more time thinking she may just be busy but it was nothing of the sort she had no intention of returning my call or making good for a bad pie!!she would not do anything for me!! I was shocked as I am also a business woman & always take care of complaints to keep a good reputation & to get more recommendations!! I paid $24 for something nobody could eat that’s just sad to even have to say!Leslie told me to save the pie she would want to see it well here it is!!!!!! LOOKS CAN BE DECIEVING!!!

The key lime pie was very good. But we found the cinnamon roll to be a bit too sweet. Overall a nice pastry shop with a friendly lady behind the counter who was NOT wearing a mask.

Maybe stick with the pies? Got a pumpkin pie and was just ok. Weirdly, I got no pumpkin flavor, just a hint of cinnamon. Got the chocolate log, which the girl working said it was like an eclair but with chocolate, so I was thinking maybe a chocolate cream. No it’s literally just stuffed with solid chocolate chips. It was hard as a rock, including the pastry, and was awful. Highly DON’T recommend getting that. The Danish was really overbaked and dry. Personal pie and 2 pastries ran almost $20. Really overpriced for the quality and flavor. Was hoping for a bakery nearby for pastries, but this wasn’t a good first impression.
