We recently visited Junoon Restaurant, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience.
The service was disappointing from the start. We waited almost 50 minutes for our entrées and another 25 minutes for the mains. Our server didn’t offer water, and although we ordered drinks, we were never asked if we’d like another round. Overall, the attentiveness just wasn’t there.
For entrées, we ordered the Amritsari Fish and Honey Chilli Cauliflower. The cauliflower presentation was underwhelming — it looked like it had simply been dumped onto the plate. Flavor-wise, it lacked the expected chilli kick and was overly sweet, with no proper balance.
For mains, we had Butter Chicken, Kadai Paneer, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Disappointingly, all three dishes tasted almost identical. The only noticeable difference was the spice level we had requested. There was no distinct flavour profile to separate the dishes, which was quite surprising. None of the entrées or mains had any garnish, making the presentation feel incomplete and rushed.
To make matters worse, the dishes were quite expensive for the portion sizes served. The quantity did not justify the pricing at all, and overall it simply wasn’t worth the money.
The only highlight of the meal was the butter naan — it was thin, soft, and not overly bread-like, which we appreciated.
Overall, a disappointing experience with slow service, average food, and pricing that didn’t match the value offered. Unfortunately, not somewhere we’d rush back to.

The food was delicious and service was prompt, our waiters polite and friendly. Between our group of three we had butter chicken, chicken korma, saagwala and naans, plus our eyes were too big for our tummies and we got chicken tikka for an appetiser too – they were all delicious though and somehow we finished everything. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating here again next the.

What a lovely hidden gem! My friend & I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here last night before going to the movies. This is some of the best Indian I’ve had in a long time! Portions are perfect, prices are great (especially for the quality you get) and the restaurant has a chilled out atmosphere. The staff were also super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back.

We had such a good time at Junoon Indian Cuisine. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully cooked – the starters especially were a hit. The staff were really friendly and looked after us well. The place itself has a warm vibe with lovely décor, which made the whole evening even better. Definitely a spot I’d be happy to come back to.

We wanted a cozy place that elevates our dining experience to celebrate our special day – our only daughter’s birthday eve. And Junoon Indian Cuisine didn’t let us down. We had a great experience – good food, service with smiling faces, optimum menu prices and discounted prices through First Table’s reservation was a bonus. A good family restaurant with sumptuous food, hygiene, great location near the Mission Bay beach and five senses pleasing ambiance. What else can you ask for? We are planning to visit it again over the weekend with family friends.

Food took 1hr 30mins to get out, mains and starters were all jumbled up. could count on one hand how many pieces of meat in the curry, friend found hair in her food. Definitely not eating here again. Don’t waste your time.
