We heard a lot of good things about this place so decided to go. The people are very nice, the service is prompt and the place has classy vibe. We got the 3 course meal. The presentation and preparation was really good. The taste however was okay, a few dishes were really good but nothing to write home about. We did not like the cocktails. What we all felt was there was just too much going on with both food and drinks, in terms of flavours. And it didn’t come out that well

One of the best Indian food menus in New York. Worth the Michelin experience. With a pre fix menu of a three course meal, it does offer decent variety and mouth watering options. We did not order cocktails as it felt too much was going on there. Desserts were a little underwhelming in taste but looked great in presentation. Dishes that stood out were Okra fries and the Duck based curry.

brilliant Indian place, lovely for a smart casual type date. we went for the restaurant week (2023) menu which was essentially a slightly cheaper slightly more restricted version of their regular tasting menu. food wasn’t pushing too many boundaries creatively but it was cooked absolutely superbly. the chicken was the best chicken I’ve ever had in a curry. a lovely way to end our trip in NYC!

A surprise birthday at Junoon. Didn’t know this was a michelin starred restaurant. The food was good, the smoked eggplant topped the chart for me and the Goat ribs. Drinks are ok. My husband ordered a White Russian did not go well even upon a second try. The waiter recommended something on the menu which was good. Overall for a michelin star my expectations were higher. The hostess upon arrival could have smiled a bit more and be more pleasant. The atmosphere was ok. The service was excellent at the table.

Prix fixe dinner menu with one appetizer, main, choice of lentil, choice of bread, and dessert. The service is impeccable. The food was really good but since some of the plates were a bit disappointing for the price we payed, it’s not 5 stars. Best dishes: the paneer pasanda, the tellicherry duck, the rice pudding and banana baba. The spiced naan also amazing. Not worth: paneer kasturi and lobster. Drinks were good with an amazing variety of whiskey!

A great Indian restaurant with a very worthwhile prix fix menu – the portions were generous and the flavors definitely hit the mark. The service was also incredible, the waitstaff were lovely and helpful in answering any questions/sharing more about the dishes. While the plating of the appetizer veered towards unnecessarily extravagant, I thoroughly enjoyed my main course and dessert – I couldn’t recommend the kulfi pops enough.

A great lunch experience with an outstanding quality of food and drinks. The service is one to die for our server Rishika was really helpful in guiding us with the pre fix menu and sharing her knowlegde on drinks to pair the food with. The lunch was perfect, us being vegeterian we started with Kurkure Bhindi and Paneer for appetizers. For mains I had lasooni palak and my fiance had mushroom & truffle khichdi ( this was the best khichdi I had in a while) I was skeptical at first but it turned out to be really good. We also had Dal Makhani which was good as well.

We have been wanting to go to this place for a while now, ever since we saw a BuzzFeed video and later a video by Fufski on YouTube. Junoon was lovely. Amazing food, great service, awesome ambience, this place was perfect for our early celebrations. We could only go for the set menus, though you had options to upgrade. We both went for a 3 course menus and with one of us also opting for the wine pairing, thus trying out 6 dishes in the process. My personal favorites were the Ghost Chili Murgh Tikka, Bhel Tuna Chat, Lamb Chettinad and Ma’s rice pudding. The cocktails were really good, especially the sparkling saffron. It was almost like having an Indian dessert with prosecco. Definitely one of my favorite Indian restaurant in NY now.
