Jumps is one of those places that sets the stage beautifully — the music is elegant, the lighting is soft and warm, and the space itself feels like a quiet weekend treat. Unfortunately, the experience doesn’t quite keep pace with the atmosphere.
Service felt a bit uneven — polite, yes, but with smiles that seemed more practiced than genuine. It’s the kind of service where you sense people are going through the motions rather than truly wanting you to enjoy your visit.
As for the food, the presentation was nice, but the flavors never really found their balance. Dishes that should have had depth and savory warmth came off a bit flat or mismatched. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not the kind of meal that lingers in your memory for the right reasons.
I’d say Jumps is fine if your taste buds aren’t too particular and you’re mainly looking for a lovely space to sit and chat over brunch. But if you’re after well-balanced flavors and genuine hospitality, it might leave you wanting more.

Reservation honored on time. Very busy noon on Sunday as usual. Excellent service. Puff pancake with fruit was so delicious and beautifully presented. A friend’s salmon patty eggs Benedict looked perfect an he was very pleased with his meal.

The service was great! The food was good. I ordered the French toast, fruit pancake (forgot the name), and regular pancake. The regular pancakes were great! The pancake with the fruit was delicious, but it was not as large as I thought it would be. It took about 25 minutes to cook so make sure you pay the meter for 2-3hours so you don’t come out with a ticket. The french toast had a sauce on it that I did not care a lot for. The toast was cut into small chunks. Im glad I tried this place. I may come back and try the blueberry pancakes. The place was small, but nice and cozy lit chill place. Try it out. Make sure you get a good parking spot or park on the street by the church for free.

The breakfast was amazing! Spontaneously decided to go for breakfast at 8 am. Got there around 830ish, we were sitted right away but reservations are recommended.
I had a quiche of the day and it was served with a side of fruit- which were freshly cut and not refrigerated at all.. and it was perfect!
My toddler had the puffed pancake w. tons berries on top – he enjoyed a lot of it! I was surprised of how much he ate.
My husband had the salmon Benedict- he doesn’t comment much on food – but he was impressed.
Were definitely coming back to try other dishes.

I rated the food a 4 only because I didn’t care for everything I’ve tried. It has nothing to do with the chef, it just a personal choice. I think he is very talented. I especially like the puff pancake. It’s a must have. Hope one day they can reopen for dinner dining.
