I have been ordering from Jumbo China since they were on Falls of Neuse. They are my FAVORITE Chinese restaurant. Everyone is take here loves it. They have the best food, and it’s always seasoned well. Please, the owners are very nice. And now they have a buffet! The food is still just as good and fresh as it is if you order out. Me and my friend have been there once a week for lunch. She drives from Clayton to this place because it’s so good. And the best part is it’s only $11.99 for lunch. I dont know if that’s because the buffet is new, but it is $11.99. And they have fresh sushi, they dont have a big variety because people really only eat the other food rather than the sushi but it is made fresh. And they have hibachi! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Really impressed with the quality of food here. I love that the General Tso and spicy chicken were actually spicy when most places have us forgetting that they are supposed to be. We came in at less than an hour before close and never felt rushed or that we were a bother. The place was super clean, no ice cream bar or fortune cookies, just good food. Will definitely be back.

This place has been here for decades so I assumed it would be okay. I was wrong. The buffet was so sad. Even the hibachi was questionable. The only thing not strange of the fruit and salad bar. Maybe the egg drop soup was okay. But everything else was highly questionable. The shrimp was inedible and the fried rice was just bad no flavor. I should have known something was up when they had Rancho music playing in the background. This place is a waste of money. Just gross. don’t do it. They are playing in our faces and selling food ruined by inexperienced or incompetent cooks. I so wish they would take care in the food they offer. How do places like this stay opened? The pictures showed they had seafood on the bar. They hardly had shrimp and what they did have was over cooked. Are there any restaurants that take pride in there establishment? Or are they just trying to get paid and do the bare minimum? I would think they would want to wow people so they could get more customers.

Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The meal was incredibly amazing, the staff was very polite, the food was available in less than 10 minutes after I placed my order, and the restaurant was spotless! The chicken was mouthwatering, and the rice with peas, carrots, and onions were delicious! I will surely return to this place for more food.

It’s on the cheap side as other reviewers noted, yes. Says it all about it. You get what you paid for. Relatively good food, not as wide choice as in the majority of Chinese buffets I am familiar with. Oh, and that Hot and Sour soup is neither hot, nor sour, quite bland…

Maybe it was just my order but this has to be one of the top 3 worst Chinese food experiences. Sweet and sour chicken looked delicious. It was really bad,like it was leftover from the day before. It was soggy and mushy like someone threw it in a microwave. It tasted like freezer burnt wet,no crisp whatsoever bad chicken. The egg roll looked okay. It was a soggy mess as well and red inside from all the fake pork product. It was watery and the red stained cabbage was rancid. The white rice was good… and that’s all.

My favorite Chinese restaurant to eat at and order take out. I have been a customers of theirs since they were in the North Ridge Shopping center. There food is always fresh and delicious!! It’s hard for me to eat at any other Chinese restaurants since I love their food so much. Oh! Their buffet is inexpensive and absolutely delicious!!

I’m not sure why I’m seeing all these reviews singing praises about this food. The food we had was terrible! We ordered General TSO Chicken, Egg Rolls and Chicken Egg Foo Young, everything tasted like a Star Anise Overload!! Yuck!! The Egg Rolls were burnt and for some unknown reason, they were RED inside. The Egg Foo Young had hard bits of chicken and the gravy had the same awful taste of star anise. General TSO Chicken was awful! Once again Star Anise!! Oh… I almost forgot the Soup… I tasted it… and poured it out! Also, ALL of the food tasted BURNT! The food may look pleasing to the eye but, that’s as far as it goes. Quit pushing that awful spice into paying customers food. Not everyone likes the flavor of licorice in their food! As far as I’m concerned, if I could rate this place a ZERO I WOULD!

We ate Jumbo China on Christmas Day and it was DELICIOUS! The restaurant was clean and the General Tsao’s Chicken was bussin! Just the right amount of spice! The wontons crab rangun things were also yummy!
