Julie’s Café is a charming spot with great coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a cute place to relax, hang out, and enjoy a bite. The sandwiches were fantastic—fresh, delicious, and super satisfying. Definitely a cozy café worth visiting. It is cash only, so something to keep in mind. They do have an ATM on site if needed.

I love the layout of this building. With its nooks and crannies, it feels like you’re walking around in a friend’s house. The Amtrak station next door adds a wonderful touch of history with the old train depot still in use. And it’s interesting to sit in a sunny spot and watch the trains coming and going.
Definitely come for the hot drinks (coffee and hot chocolate), the baked goods, and the sandwiches and soup. It’s worth a drive to Columbus just to visit this cozy local gem.

Fantastic staple of Columbus, great food and great service. This place is truly one of a kind. Owner is an amazing lady who I have heard does amazing things for her community. Treated like I was family. The only coffee shop to go to when you are in Columbus. Highly recommend

The place is absolutely lovely for anyone whos a fan of coffee or trains. The Hiawatha Wrap and Empire Builder sandwich were absolutely lovely and a nice arrangement of baked goods and coffee choices at great prices too. Would absolutely recommend if your in the local area.

This is such a cozy little gem! we are staying with family and wanted to sneak in a quick little lunch just the two of us. my grilled cheese was delicious- there’s really nothing better than tomatoes in the summer time. you can tell this place values and cares about their customers. 10/10 recommend. I also got an iced chai with espresso- delicious 🙂

This is a great little coffee house that makes incredible coffee and muffins. I deduct a star because Unfortunately they dont take card, so you have to have cash or use their atm and pay a $3 fee. In mid-2023, there are many affordable POS system options for small business and many of us don’t carry cash in a post COVID world. Otherwise the drinks and treats are outstanding and the service was friendly.
