My experience at Julie Ryan Philippine Cuisine was a great experience. The food is made to order and full of flavor. The staff is so friendly, and accommodating. Plus the overall atmosphere is very pleasant. Everything is fairly priced while having nice portion sizes. Also I’ve never seen a Filipino restaurant in the Metro Detroit area that offers such a large variety of authentic dishes on their menu quite like this place does. For anyone who has not yet tried this place or in general has never had Filipino food before, this will definitely be a spot you will enjoy.

The food has so much flavor in it. If you never tried Filipino food before, they will explain it all to you. I only had Filipino food one other time before this experience. Filipino food is very good.
The customer service is great. Very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
The only negative is that the food is a little pricey, but what isn’t these days, especially in 2025 and expenses are higher than ever. You are paying for quality. The food did fill me up. There is a good amount of food when you order and you will be full when you leave.
Overall, I would recommend coming here. It is a pleasant experience to dine in here as well.

We had an amazing experience at Julie Ryan! The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was fast. If you’re craving authentic Filipino comfort food or want to try something new, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend the Pork Sisig, Palabok, Shrimp Okoy, and of course, the Halo Halo.

The Dinuguan and Pork Sisig taste just like the way Lola used to make it growing up—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every dish brings that true lutong bahay (home-cooked) goodness.
Owner Ryan personally came by to say hello, adding an extra touch of heart to the whole experience.
If you haven’t tried Julie Ryan yet, do yourself a favor—it’s now my go-to for real-deal Pinoy food. Maraming salamat to the team!

5 stars, 10/10! All around exceptional food and service. I had some knowledge of Philippino cuisine but we let our incredible server guide us to some just outstanding dishes! We tried sizzling pork, pancit, lumpia and siosa adobo. To end we had the halo halo! It is such a different experience and delicious! You must get it!!! To top things out the decor is wonderful and it was extremely clean!

Very good philippine cuisine. Ordered chicken siopao and chicken empanada for appetizers. For dinner I had chicken afritada, and ube biko with coconut and halo halo for dessert. Had a fabulous experience. 4 and 3/4 Stars!

This has been on my radar since they opened, and today was the day! Guys, don’t sleep on this! Ryan is an amazing host, and served me a delicious array of authentic Philippine dishes. I had Lumpia Shanghai, Garlic Rice, Pancit Bihon, and Chicken Adobo. They are open Wed-Sun but cater 7 days. Highly recommend.

We met the owner Kuya Ryan who served us. Wife cooked the food for us and they were all delicious! Highly recommened to stop by if you are looking for authentic filipino food! Love the experience!!!
