Very nice people and the food is so good! The brick oven pizza was great, I got sausage and mushroom and cheese bread as well, and it didn’t leave my stomach feeling bad after like pizza usually does. The scones are very good and the fresh made cream horns can’t be beat! Gwen and Jason make everyone feel welcome.

Hemphill Community Center is absolutely wonderful! The Friday Night Pickin’ with live bluegrass music, dancing, and delicious pizza from the in house Black Sheep Bakery were such a highlight of my summer here in Letcher County. If you’re not here, you’re missing out!

Good pizza and calzones, great bread and pastries, all baked on premises. Herbed tomato soup and a slice of bread for $3 would have tided me over, but I filled the tank with a hot ham sandwich underpriced at $5. Surroundings basic with a lot of creativity in evidence. Service friendly and prompt.
