Everything looked amazing so we got pizza, a donut, a fresh loaf of bread, cherry cheesecake, and a cannoli. I am not kidding when I say everything was fantastic. I’m truly blown away by this place. We will be getting our bread here from now on. They can slice it for you, and it tastes incredible. The donut was my favorite I’ve tried in Detroit and I’ve tried a lot. Then the cheesecake was also amazing. I just can’t recommend this place highly enough. What an absolute gem of a place. I love Julian Brothers.

We worked with Richard, he was super nice, but they lost our order details multiple times in the month leading up to our wedding. I was quoted $109 for two cakes, when we went to pay someone tried to charge us $250 which was not at all what was discussed, and they didn’t write the quote down. The floral on one cake looked completely different than what I asked for, and the cake itself was super dry… won’t be using them for cakes again, before this we’ve gone in and bought baked goods before and they’ve been fine.

I’m not sure how or why this place has such high reviews. The service is mid, at best. I waked in to three employees talking. They didn’t prioritize greeting me or stopping their convo. I should’ve left then, but I wanted something sweet and I was there.

When the employee opened my bag, she used her bare hand. Not the gloved one. Gross. It hasn’t been washed.

The cookies were hard as bricks and tasteless. The peanut butter brownie had the texture of a sponge and honestly, tasted like one too.

Nope, nah and hard pass. I wasted six dollars on trash — because the trash is where what I bought, was tossed.

Every year we order cakes for each of our daughter’s birthdays from this bakery.

Absolutely beautiful cake decorating! Not to mention, how delicious, moist, and amazing the cake itself is! I highly recommend this bakery if you are looking for a custom cake design. We have ordered nine custom cakes from Julian Brothers and have yet to be disappointed. Amazing customer service. The owner, Mr. Julian, is always on top of the orders, and he will follow up with you to ensure everything is accurate before the date of pick up. We absolutely love, love, love this bakery! They have made each of our daughter’s first five birthdays very memorable and everyone loved the cakes!

Very disappointing! Paczkis tasted stale and dry, barely any jelly or glaze. Florida the price of $30 a dozen; I’ll get them at the grocery store where they are 1/2 the price and better!

I regret NOTHING. You can smell the deliciousness as soon as you open the door. And then! There they are. All the delectable treats you can dream of at the bakery counter. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and a veggie slice. The veggie slice didn’t make it home. I shared the other pepperoni slice because I am not a mean spouse. (This was my least favorite part) And because I couldn’t say no…I got a blueberry muffin. When I say that the softness of the muffin reminded me of a past time. Yes! Fluffy and crispy on the top. If I had glasses…I would have thrown them. Service was so friendly and enjoyable. It was my first time and I felt like I was with friends. You should come here. You won’t regret it either.

I’ve been going to this place for years. I went in January and got snubbed on a cake. So I took a break from them. I went back today 10 months later and the macaroon cookie was so hard. I thought I was gonna break my tooth on it. They don’t get a third chance I’m not throwing any more money out the window plus they raise their cookies $15 a pound and half the time they’re stale. I’m very disappointed. You’re lucky I give you two stars on this one.

I grew up on Julian Bros. subs and cookies, so I was very happy that they were able to cater my wedding desserts! I worked directly with Mr. Julian, who made sure everything on my order was accurate and delivered on time. He worked with my florist to arrange flowers on our cake, and worked with our venue staff to setup the dessert table beautifully. He also provided subs as a pre-wedding snack for our bridal party, which was a huge hit. Everything was delicious!
