I wanted some soul food compared to driving all the way to Fort Worth for it. I googled and found this place. It didn’t disappoint at all. The chicken was crispy and juicy (hence the name). The greens were amazing and the Mac & cheese got better the more I ate it. The cornbread and kool aid were on point. I would definitely come back to this place.

The food here is so amazing. My whole family enjoys the food! We got the wings, legs and fries catfish all fried to perfection and well seasoned. For the sides we got greens, mac n cheese, yams and fries. It all was delicious. Nikki and Lamesha always have great customer service and makes sure we all get what we want. The food is cooked fresh and is most definitely worth the wait. Overall we love it and will be going back. Just might be our Sunday dinner spot.

I got the 2 piece Catfish with cucumber salad and fried Okra. Food was freshly made and tasted great! Catfish was sooo good. Service was great as well. Love the kool-aid. I will be coming back!

Woke up this morning craving some soul food and booooy did this place deliver. I hope my mama doesnt see this, but they had the best daggum greens I’ve ever had in my entire life. Mac n cheese was on point too. Chicken was fried to perfection. All the soul food sides. Nikki made the place feel like home, and everything came out hot and fresh. Highly recommend.

Update: Listen—I’ve been wanting a good ole place to go to that’s nearby that serves great fried fish and chicken. Me and my daughter was out and about yesterday and just ran across this place and decided to stop.
We looked at the reviews prior to going in and as soon as we walked in, I knew it was going to be good because I could smell the aroma and seasonings!!
They serve a $6 Snack Pack Variety from 11 am – 4 pm which was perfect to try the place out and see if we really liked it. It was so good! I got the fish and fries snack pack and my daughter got the fried chicken and fries snack pack. We were so excited to try it that we didn’t get any pics. We also got the banana pudding bc they were sold out of the peach cobbler. I haven’t tried it yet bc I got so full with the meal that I forgot.
Today—I went back and got the 2-piece fried fish with sweet potatoes! OMG it’s so yummy and perfect! The owner and her daughter are the cooks and they did that and they’re very sweet people! I’ll have to get a picture of them on my next visit!
Ok—this was my 3rd visit back to back to back this weekend, so it’s only right to add the additional items I was able to try during my visit. I had the “veggie plate” with fried cabbage (5 ⭐️), pinto beans (5 ⭐️), fried okra (5 ⭐️) and cucumber salad (4 ⭐️) then I also got their “Soul Food Sunday” Oxtails smothered over a beef of rice plus the 2 sides of choice which I selected greens and dressing with the cranberry sauce. Lord have mercy—I literally thought I had cooked this food or someone in my family cooked it because it was that good!!! My cousin was here to also taste everything and she absolutely loved it as well!
If you’re looking for GOOD down home southern style food and GREAT fried chicken or fish, this is the spot!!! Oh and the peach cobbler, banana pudding and frozen kool-aid swirl is so good! Haha y’all we will have food for tomorrow and the next day because the portion sizes are worth every dime! ♥️

I am beyond grateful to have found this spot! We ordered Catfish and Pork Chops. Sides were Mashed potatoes, Yams, Pinto Beans, Greens, Cabbage and the Fried corn. EVERYTHING, was seasoned well, and cooked to perfection! I have to say, they got me beat with the Cabbage. Looking forward to enjoying other menu options. Thank Y’all so very much
