I stopped at this particular location to get some dinner. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in and went to the counter. I ordered:

This was my first time coming here. I work near by and I was really looking for something new and healthy. I decided to try this place after months of walking by it and I’m so glad I did. Not only do they sell my favorite cola, but the food itself was delicious. So fresh and it’s so much food. The restaurant was clean and tidy. You can tell they take pride in their place. I also love that it is halal. I’m so happy I finally tried it. I will surely be coming back here again. 1010.

Back again after what seems like 1 million years with a professional review of what I would call one of the most charming and delicious places for a reasonable price near Newark, New Jersey, just over the water in Harrison.
TLDR: 10/5 place, crazy yummy food, even better service. Worth the money legitimately.
We came strolling in to just take a quick look at the menu when all of their team members were really nice to us and walked us through every single item on the menu help us choose and curate our selection and then furthermore when after we had completed ordering and sat down. They even brought our food to us.
Portions are big, energy was bigger. Price was reasonable (I know shocker right)…
I didn’t realize in the United States in the year 2025 that there still remained a few nice people in the food industry, today I was convinced otherwise against conventional wisdom pleasantly.
Will be coming back happily!

Juicy is back! I’ve been eating at Juicy- Harrison since they opened 6-7 years ago. It was great. I was there at least 2x per week. But over the last year or so, the food just was just OK, and I went less and less. However, today (12/15/25) reminded me of why I loved the food at Juicy to begin with. I ordered a simple chicken platter, served over rice and lettuce, with some of their cabbage/carrot slaw added. Then I added some white sauce. It was excellent! The rice and lettuce were fresh and the chicken was cooked to perfection – juicy and well seasoned. One of the best platters I’ve had in a long time! I was very impressed and complimented the two employees before I left. If you’re looking for a great meal at a reasonable price, Juicy shouldn’t be missed.

First time trying and I am very surprised. 100% halal, fast service, clean facility. Ordered myself a chicken gyro wrap and it was a great portion for the price. It was delicious. The pickled onions was the best part. Staff is friendly and very well-groomed.

I decided to write this review after my fourth check in at this place. This is one of the best Mediterranean places you will find in the neighborhood if you are in Harrison. The owner of this place must have thought through well to paint this restaurant with Red (happens to be my favorite color too) as its bright color almost lays out a red carpet invitation to a clean and well maintained place.
The cashiers make sure to make the ‘Welcome to Juicy’ notice just when you are opening the door and they keep a warm smile throughout your time at their restaurant as if it’s their second nature. They take the order patiently and offer suggestions when you ask them. The over-the-head banners are simply designed with the various choices they offer. I’ve always had good regard on restaurants that keep their kitchens open for people to see, as it requires special efforts and confidence to show off that it’s neatly maintained. They have some great showpieces at display too.
Now coming to the food, I’m a regular to the Falafel rice platter and I get some good top up additions. The order time won’t take long and you get it picked right after the wait device buzzes. They have a nice way of arranging the food around in the box. To me, their celebrity folks are the white and hot sauces they offer for you to add indefinitely and adding them to the platter, just makes the taste explode in all directions!
Since I see the owner/manager being actively responsive to messages, two tips for you mate-
1. Look towards paper bags as an environment friendly option to shy away from the plastic bags.
2. Start taking phone numbers for the rewards program as it becomes painful for someone like me to recite my whole email ID, every time.

So this was my first time here and I wanted to try it since the place looks so clean and welcoming. I ordered 2 platters bowls. One was a mixed platter bowl and the other one was Gyro platter bowl. When I got home my gyro platter was cold and the rice was over cooked. I had chunks of hard rice and the pita bread was hard the lettuce was old. My wife mixed platter was the same thing. If these things can get improved it would be amazing. Portion wise was great you definitely get your money worth. I’m a little disappointed but it’s all good
