This place hits the spot for Chinese/Taiwanese food. The chive pork and shrimp pan fried dumplings and the beef rolls were the favorite here. The beef noodle soup was ok but lacked a lot of flavor. The bok choy with garlic had a lot of garlic which was nice. The soup dumplings has a slightly thicker chewier skin than the usual Xiao long bao.
The staff was super nice and accommodating and friendly. They were great. The atmosphere still feels like a Denny’s but all upscaled or upgraded.

We went for a late lunch and ordered soup, dumplings pan, fried chicken dumplings, and pan fried pork dumplings. The food came fast and it was delicious. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the soup dumplings as that’s often hard to accomplish. It’s an old coffee shop converted to a dumpling house to the atmosphere is rather strange and does not feel at all like a Chinese food restaurant. The staff are relatively new but very nice. If you like dumplings, it’s definitely worth a try and I recommend everything we ordered.

If happiness exists, it’s definitely wrapped in dough at Juicy Dumpling Factory
This newly opened restaurant in Hermosa Beach has already stolen my heart… and my appetite! The dumplings are so juicy, it’s as if they’re a fountain of youth. The food is delicious, the prices are so reasonable (it’s a real treat), and the staff is so friendly and cheerful that you don’t want to leave even after dessert.
This is the kind of place you come to “just try,” and then find yourself thinking, “Well, I’m a regular now.”
Basically, if you’re in need of a quick dose of joy wrapped in dough, this is the place for you. I’ll definitely be back. And more than once! ✨

If you love soup dumplings and pan-fried dumplings but hate long waits, tiny portions, and spotty service, Juicy Dumpling Factory in Redondo Beach is the dim sum upgrade you’ve been looking for. We had the cucumber salad, steamed juicy dumplings, pan fried dumplings, chicken fried rice, Dan Dan noodles, mango yogurt, beef roll, fried green beans, scallion pancake, mashed garlic spare ribs, spicy wontons, and braised beef noodle soup. We waited only 10 minutes for a table on Saturday evening. Service was fast, food was delicious, and we’ll be back soon!

Inside the restaurant is very spacious. The table is little bit small for 2 persons. We needed to ask an add on to fit our dishes.

The food is great. Tastes great. The problem is the service is mediocre and the dining experience is basic. You’ll be asking for utensils, napkins and other items over and over again.
The really bad part is the lack of cleanliness. The tables and seating and eating areas are disguising. I see kids leaving greasy stains all over the tables, the seats, the back support…and the only cleaning that’s done is wiping the oil and grease with a dry towel. No cleaning agent. Just wiping the grease and oil and basically spreading that all over. So the next person to sit there is sitting on oil and grease left over by the former party. It’s really disgusting.

Pork dim sum was only okay and we didn’t even want to eat the pan fried dumplings. Service was very slow and you had to flag down a waiter to get anything. Prices seemed way too high for what you got. One order of 8 dim sum was $15!

Terrible takeout experience.
Ordered online with a 30-minute pickup time. Ended up waiting 75 minutes. Kept being told “just a few more minutes” for basic dishes like broccoli beef and chow mein. Watched dine-in orders fly out nonstop while takeout was clearly deprioritized.
When I finally got the food, it was missing an item (see photo which shows the bbq pork bun was not crossed out, I did get it after telling the staff), and most of it was lukewarm. Maybe the food is decent or even good when it’s hot and fresh, but I didn’t get hot food.
If you’ve already paid for takeout, don’t expect your order to matter. If you do order takeout, don’t pay for it until you get your food.
Completely unacceptable.

I am reviewing this restaurant on my 2nd visit. The first time I came for lunch and the food and service were excellent. On my second visit for dinner the experience is no different. The only difference is that for dinner the restaurant is very busy so the wait is a bit longer. However I am more than willing to wait considering that the staff is genuinely concerned and keep coming back to check on us. Everything tastes freshly made and the portions are decently sized for the price you pay. If you are in a hurry go to a take out joint. If you don’t mind enjoying your food with the company you have then come here.

I heard a lot of good things about this place, so decided to try it out. The food was excellent. Loves the juicy dumplings. Also had the spicy pork dumplings, green beans, and cucumber salad. All awesome. I’d give this place 5 stars, EXCEPT they didn’t have hot tea! What kind of Chinese/Taiwanese restaurant is this place that doesn’t serve hot tea? It’s practically blasphemy! But, since this place is new, hopefully they’ll eventually do the right thing and have hot tea available someday….soon?
