The acai bowl has an overwhelming banana flavor. Acai is a strong tasting berry with sourness. The banana flavor completely overshadows that flavor in this bowl. There were also disappointing tiny frozen blueberries. Not worth the 15 dollars. For 15 dollars I’ve had acai bowls that don’t taste like pure banana and are loaded with multiple kinds of FRESH fruit.

I’ve been purchasing various juice items and cleanses from Juice On The Square for years. Although prices have risen in that time, it hasn’t deterred me. One thing that has stayed consistent is the caliber of employees hired. It seems to be a requirement that they are subdued, quiet and don’t smile frequently. I have never encountered an outright cheerful employee, it’s quite odd! I’ve recommended this place to others and the majority of the feedback was that they felt uncomfortable. Juicing is still new to some people and I think a friendly face and cheerful attitude would go a long way in making customers feel welcome and that they can ask questions. Also, I’m not opposed to tipping on a pre-made juice, as this is a service industry, but I prefer to do so when the service warrants it.
I’ll continue to frequent this establishment in hopes that one day I’ll walk into a big, smiling, “Hello!”

They have wonderful acai bowls! The prices are great, $10, and the bowls are big! Loaded with grains, chia seeds, large blueberries and goji berries atop a creamy fruit base. Sweet but not too sweet. This out of the way store is just the place in downtown Santa Rosa!!

I never write a review. My husband and I are leaving to go on our 10 year anniversary trip and I came down with the worst head cold. I felt horrible yesterday and today, that is until a girlfriend brought me a Blue Moon Immunity shot. I grew up “granola” so I am a believer in natural remedies, but this was incredible. I felt at least 75% better within the hour and continue to feel better and better. It was like magic! I will be telling everyone and picking this up for sick friends and family any time anyone is sick.
