The food is good and flavorful! The homemade ice cream is good and so are the aguas! I eat here often but they have gotten bad on their time management. If you order on the phone they’ll say it’ll be 20min but when I go I still end up having to wait another 10-15 min for my food. It’s almost everytime it would be fine if it was once or twice but it happens all the time.

I stopped in looking for a good meal and I ordered the enchilada supreme. it was amazing!!!! The food is made with love. I could tell the second the plate was elegantly sat on the table in front of me I was in for a treat. The cook absolutely knows what they are doing. Flavor was incapacitated in every bite. The chicken had Perfect texture and the green salsa Verde sauce was delicious.
It’s not just an ice cream shop it’s got an amazing food menu. I highly recommend anything on the menu !!!!! Thank you for the best Mexican food east of Colorado I have ever had.

This is our go to Mexican place. We love the chicken enchiladas the most but really great tacos and ice cream too. We always tell people that are going to Franklin to go here. We live in Clayton but don’t mind driving to get such yummy food. We’ve always had nice, friendly service too. Just go!

This was our first time here. When looking for a place to eat on Google, this came up but despite the name, a review and a picture told us there was more to it. I’m from Mexico, more specifically Michoacan, which is known for its homemade ice creams. We chose this place over the other Mexican restaurants, because it gave me the impression it was more authentic food vs tex-mex.
We walked in and nobody greeted us, which was a little disappointing, but the Mexican men eating menudo and birria seemed too promising to leave. The staff was not really amicable, as I’m accustomed to at Mexican restaurants, but they weren’t rude.
We ordered 4 dishes and loved them all. They were portioned well and flavorful. They had a variety of very flavorful salsas. Two salsas Verdes and one roja. The aguas frescas also delicious.
Before even getting the food, we joked around that we might have to go tomorrow too, if we liked it too much. But once we got the food, everyone agreed that we should go back before leaving Franklin.
We ended our meal with the homemade Nieves, or ice cream; but they also had a plethora of snacks and treats, such as fruta ppicada, mangonadas, esquites, chicharrones con cueritos, dorilocos, paletas, etc. The Nieves were delicious. We got ganzito (Mexican treat made with chocolate, sweet bread, strawberry jam) and fresa (strawberry). They also had rum with raisin, pistachio, tres leches, ferrero rocher, chocolate mint, etc.
If time permits, we plan on returning tomorrow, but if not, for sure whenever we return to the area.
