Our favorite Mexican restaurant in town! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming to us every time we go in, they remember our favorite orders, and the food is always great! We’ve never had a less than great experience here!

This place was such a pleasant surprise. I absolutely loved the old bar–style atmosphere — the dim lighting, cozy seating, and classic décor give it a warm, inviting feel you don’t usually find in a Mexican restaurant. It has that laid-back charm that makes you want to sit and stay awhile.
The service was top-notch. There were plenty of staff members walking around, checking in, and making sure every table was taken care of. Everyone was friendly and efficient, and our food came out quickly even though the restaurant was busy.
We started with chips, salsa, and queso — all super flavorful. The real star of the meal was the main course. The pork chimichanga was amazing — perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and full of flavor inside. The rice and beans were well-seasoned and made the whole plate come together beautifully.
Overall, this place nails it in every category: atmosphere, service, and especially food. It’s got that old-school charm with a modern touch, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. The prices are what fair and portion sizes are big. The homemade tortillas are amazing! The burger and fries were also really good. They did a good job remodeling and have a nice open atmosphere. Would highly recommend checking them out for lunch or dinner.

I took my mom for her birthday and she and I were so disappointed
I was told it was great and authentic
I ordered a taco salad.
There was chicken, lettuce and sour cream with the tough end of a tomato thrown on top
The sour cream was so abundant and soppy, the taco salad shell was inedible
As where other places typically add diced tomato, refried beans, olives so e times, cheese ..
Even Taco Bell adds some of that
But this was just a sopping wet mess of sour cream and lettuce on it
When the waitress asked how everything was, I was honest that it was not enjoyable
Her reply was
“I don’t make the food”
So, not only did I find that dismissive but pretty rude.
My mother ordered tilapia and veggies.
Hers was so salted after two bites she pushed it aside disappointed
The waitress came back, we told her we were both unhappy with our food
She said “Sorry to hear that” and asked for payment
35.00 for two meals unenjoyed.
And asked on being told oh well, I didn’t cook it?
I will not be back nor recommend.

I like that the atmosphere and decor isn’t as ostentatious as the other Mexican restaurants in town. That being said, I did find the food to be a bit bland . Chips were a bit stale. Salsa was really good, though.
Service was good. We came during the lunch rush and it understandably took a bit to get us seated.

The molcajate was terrible. We did not eat it. It was COLD!!!!!! And it tasted like barbecue sauce… which is not okay… and the cheese on top never even melted
