Same old food other plain restaurants serve. Chicken Fried Chicken and Southwestern Rolls… ranch was good. Bartender and staff is super nice and check on you. Thought this was going to be a Mexican place but it’s most of the same restaurant that was here before.

Yep, it’s another five for five star review. To begin I want to give a shout out to the staff. They make you feel as if you are the most important customer there. From the knowledge of the dishes to the excellent service, these people will not disappoint.
Now to the food: my wife ordered the chicken fried steak with green beans and a salad. The steak looked and smelled delicious and the gravy was awesome. Although I didn’t personally try it she destroyed it so that is as good as a five star from her. The green beans were not cooked to mush and looked to be fresh.
For myself I had the daily special which, being on a Friday, was catfish and shrimp plate. My sides were coleslaw and a salad. The catfish was perfection, with no off flavor and the most satisfying crunch and texture. The large shrimp were also awesome. For me the coleslaw was a bit sweet and lacked any seasoning; and the salad, well, it was generic at best (not bad, but not anything to write home about.)
Altogether it was a pleasant dining experience and we will be back. Y’all come now, ya hear?

You cannot beat this homemade food AND service. Lainey, our server, was fantastic. Every restaurant should have a LAINEY! She was doing everything and taking care of everyone quickly, accurately, and with a smile!! I hope Juanita’s knows what a gem they have!!

Hey yall if you’re on 171 near Radley louisiana stop in at Juanita’s. The wait staff is awsome, the food is more awsomer ( if that’s a word). My wife and I ate the fried fish, and shrimp. But before I say anything about those let me tell you about our appetizer fried Zucchini. What I can say try it, what I will say is, the best appetizer I’ve had in a very long time. I’d go back and eat just that. Now for the fish and shrimp; hand battered, served fresh and hot, cooked to perfection. It’s a really nice place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Do yourself a favor and go by, tell them I sent you, and you’ll get exactly what I got. Great service, even better food, and you’ll leave with a smile plus you’ll be full.

First time to eat at Juanita’s Kitchen in Longville. The hostess, Destinee was so sweet and our waitress, Lainey was awesome also. She was always checking to see how things were and if we needed anything. The food came out fast and hot, meaning cooked to order not under heat lamp. The food was awesome! I ordered fried pork with mashed potatoes. The pork chops was so tender I could cut it with my fork and tasteful! The appetizer was fried zucchini and it was fried just right and very tasteful. The overall experience was great! Will be back to try other menu items!

We went on Saturday for an early lunch. Waitress was wonderful and meal came out pretty quick. However the bacon we were served tasted really bad. I asked someone in my party to taste as well and said it tasted really bad. Within an hour I started having severe issues with my stomach. Both of us were sick until Sunday evening. I didn’t complain just paid for our meal and tipped the Waitress.

Tried for lunch to see if we liked it more than our first visit for breakfast. We didnt. Husband had a burger and it was incredibly dry, not sure if too lean or overcooked. Also lettuce was just a huge piece. I had a shrimp salad with ranch. I always get a to go box right away cause I eat little but I didnt even bother bringing home with me this time cause the dressing was awful. It was noon and 2 vehicles on a weekday. Should have been a clue. We wont try again.

I’ve gotten breakfast and lunch here. Breakfast was good. The beef tips are nothing more than meat cooked down separately, probably sous vide in bulk, and dumped into the most obviously instant unseasoned brown gravy I’ve ever seen in my life. I know a lot of things they cook get good reviews but, for the price, and what I’m expecting, instant brown gravy not made from smothered down meat and onions and SEASONING……unacceptable.
