This place had good ratings so we decided to try it. And it did NOT disappoint. The service was very kind and attentive. And the food was excellent. This is probably one of the best tasting Ethiopian restaurants I have ever been to. Thank you for the great experience and I will come again! ❤️

Pros: the chef came out and talked to us about injera and berbere! She even lets us sample some fresh berbere. The doro wat had so much flavor
Cons: the sambusas (both beef and lentil) were dark and tasted somewhat burnt

Amazing sample of authentic Ethiopian hospitality, flavor, and flavor. Did I mention flavor? Mt family has been dining here regularly since we found this gem. The owner, Seble, is as authentic a human being as you’ll find, and her cooling is something you can’t miss.
Friendly and delicious for vegetarian, gluten-free, celiac, and keto diets.

The food is SO good here!!! Do not be fooled because it may not look super fancy. The food is amazing. And the cook is so lovely and friendly. She explained everything about the food and gave us helpful suggestions. The injera was super delicious. We got the vegetarian combo and the lamb stew. I think this is my favorite lanb stew I have ever had
The vegetarian combo is also completely vegan and gluten free so that’s amazing.
We also got the honey wine. It was really flavorful! We also had the beef sambusa as an appetizer. It came with salad (beware of the serrano pepper! ️ its spicy haha) The menu is pretty affordable for such high quality food! Would highly recommend.

I made the best restaurant choice to celebrate my birthday. Here at Eatopia Eat Ethiopian , in Aurora. The food was fresh and delicious and nice portions. The veggie combo platter was delicious and spectacular. The injera taste so good as well. The meat choices are amazing. The samosas for an appetizer are great, I like to get one of each, the one with lentils and the one with ground beef. The owner and staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. It became our favorite restaurant. When our son comes back from Germany or sooner we are going back he was jealous seeing us there from there. Thank-you for such a great experience on my Birthday! Food is fairly consistent and delicious! Service is probably some of the best you’ll experience at any of the Ethiopian restaurants. The only issues I find is that prices stay the same, or even go up, portions seem to get smaller, or things will disappear from a plate you’ve ordered multiple times before and the next time you come in you’re having to ask for it, or it’s just not provided. I really enjoy this place I hope it sticks around.

Absolutely insane. This was my first time eating Ethiopian food, and I absolutely loved it. The owner is incredibly kind and generous, servers are wonderful, the entire restaurant is welcoming. The food is incredible and so delicious, I highly recommend dinning here! The coffee ceremony is also so incredible, the coffee is rich and smooth… overall such a wonderful restaurant and experience.

Service was great. Veggie combo was great. Dry lamb was tough and chewy. Lamb stew was bland. Ordered cabbage and potatoes to go. Got home and potatoes were nearly raw in the middle. Ethiopian coffee was sublime. Nice idea, but there are better consistent restaurants.

Update: I tried several Ethiopian restaurants and Eatopia has the best injera. The owner told me they use 100% teed flour and ferment for 3 days. Their injera is naturally gluten free and also contains probiotics from the fermentation.
Came here for an early lunch on a Monday. The breakfast menu is no longer being served so I ordered a lamb dish from the lunch menu. The lamb was really tough to chew. I think it might have been goat meat instead. The injera was light and fluffy.
