The food was good. But I cannot believe you can go into a Mexican restaurant and they charge you for salsa. Was a little expensive for breakfast. Over $30 for and with no alcohol just coffee. I think it’s a little expensive and they could have just given you salsa for free. Food was good, enjoyed it but I will not be back. I’m tired of being nickeled and dimed for everything

The perfect mix between homemade Mexican food with a little bit of American comfort food.
There are not many places where you can order really good homemade Mexican food along with a burger or biscuits and gravy. This is that place, and instead of doing one or the other really well and one of them suffering, this place does both in an excellent way.
The food is served in large portions and tastes absolutely delicious. The Fuego fries, also known as home fries, are top-notch and would be difficult to beat. The prices have not matched the rise in prices of other breakfast places. 10 to $13 can still get you an excellent breakfast.
The environment is relaxed and there is even a bar that you can pull up to for one or two people and you can watch them cook the food. This family run restaurant has excellent service.
There is very little room to wait inside, and if you come at a busy time like a Saturday morning, be prepared to wait outside for up to 30 minutes.
Highly recommend

What a nice surprise! We tried to get into the Thai restaurant next door after church and the wait was at least an hour long. So we tried this place out which is right next door! What a nice surprise!! GREAT service and the food was amazing!! Lots of flavor!! Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant!! Nice menu selection of breakfast and lunch entrees! Chips, salad and guacamole–don’t pass up your chance to order those as an appetizer! SO good!

The food was great. The special was beef enchiladas with green sauce and eggs on top and it actually worked. Very tasty. The beef dilla was delicious too. Unfortunately our waitress wasn’t on top of things. We didn’t get chips and salsa and she was too busy on her phone or up front talking to notice. We will definitely come back and try more from the menu and hopefully we’ll have a better waitress.

A fantastic breakfast/ brunch spot on the west side of Norman. Great food and friendly service. Most of the dishes have a Mexican flair, both the enchiladas and tamales are great choices. Try the house hot sauce with almost anything in the menu. Plenty of parking in the strip mall parking lot. This place is a great choice when in west Norman or if you’re passing though town on I-35.

BEST. OMELETS. EVER.
Whenever I visit Norman, this is my absolute favorite place to eat. Consistently savory. Friendly service. Delicious breakfast every time. Best of all: I get the pleasure of supporting a small business.
Juan del Fuego serves generous portions, with plenty of sides, fillings, and sauces to keep you coming back to try different combinations. I love getting a side of pancakes with my omelet–a little bit of cakey sweetness with a little bit of skillet-greased egg. You can select from a variety of pre-prepared options or create a customized order of your own (I can’t ever say no to avocado on mine!). Juan del Fuego is happy to cater to your personal preferences.
Fans of breakfast food, especially: don’t drive past this one! It’s an absolute hidden gem.

When we travel out of state, we stay away from “Mexican” food to avoid disappointment. This place was recommended by a friend and we were glad we went. My husband’s had the Chipotle Burger and it was yummy. I had the special on the board and it to was fantastic. Service was fast. The place was super busy, but we waited no more than 10 minutes for a table. The wait is worth it. This Texan was happy with this place!

This place is incredible! If it were in my town, I would be a consistent regular! EVERYTHING was outstanding – from the salsa to the chips to the eggs to the enchiladas to the service… (except the biscuits & gravy, which were average at best). If you like Mexican food breakfast – beyond the typical “huevos rancheros” then this is your spot! Family owned and run (our waitress said the owner was the one cooking) and it shows the pride one takes in their own business. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
