Service matched the kitchen. I believe our server was Bella. She sat us right away, checked on us often, and genuinely seemed to care how we were doing. I noticed staff wiping tables and sweeping as they went, and the bathroom was clean.
It’s an easy place to watch a game with TVs everywhere and a friendly, lively vibe where you can still talk. The draft list is strong and you can do smaller pours to try a couple styles. Portions are generous and the menu is bigger than a typical sports bar, with options like poutine, beer cheese, burgers, brats, phillys, and chicken sandwiches. Next time I’m eyeing the wings and those fried pickle I keep hearing about.
I would definitely come back. Great food, attentive service, and a fun spot for any game day.
Friendly staff, great food, fun atmosphere!
I had the Salmon & it was delicious! Tim was the chef & prepared it perfectly! Bell & Alex are two of the very best servers I know & I’m not just blowin’ smoke!
[ But in all honesty, I might be havin’ a little too much fun! ]
What really sets JT’s apart is the people. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the crowd is relaxed and enjoyable to be around. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, have good conversations, and actually feel comfortable.
If you’re in Paducah and looking for a solid bar and grill with great food, drinks, and an even better vibe, JT’s is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended, and they’ll make sure you love sports if you don’t on a typical day.
Food first, sports second!!!
The menu offers a variety of classic bar food, from wings to burgers, all cooked to perfection. The drinks are equally impressive, with a solid selection of beers on tap and creative cocktails.
A standout feature of JTs is definitely Shannon, the bartender. Her friendly demeanor and expert knowledge of the drink menu make every visit memorable. She not only crafts delicious cocktails but also makes sure everyone feels welcomed and taken care of. It’s clear she enjoys her job, and her positive energy adds to the overall experience.
Whether you’re a sports fanatic or just looking for a great place to unwind, JTs Sports Bar is a must-visit, especially with Shannon behind the bar!
I’m beyond impressed with this place. The craft beer selection isn’t overwhelming with too many options and they do small pours so you can try multiples. There’s a great beer for each style, we tried several and really liked each one. The menu has all the regular items you’d find in a sports bar but the flavor and execution is well beyond “regular”. The dishes are elevated versions of what you’d find anywhere else and the portion sizes are huge. The kitchen staff nailed it during the soft opening, which is no easy feat.
The fried pickle straws were something I’ve never seen done before. The batter and flavor were probably the best I’ve ever had. The onions and peppers on the brat were cooked well and had fresh flavor, not over seasoned and soaked in oil. The catfish is what really impressed me and I’m picky when it comes to inland seafood. Most places either have a strong fish taste, thin fillets, and/or grease soaked breading. Theirs, besides my granny’s, might be my favorite. Flavor of the fish and cornmeal breading was light, not over seasoned or greasy, and the pieces were huge (came with 3). Their fries won me over too. I do not like thick cut fries/wedges because they’re usually bland and mushy. Theirs have great taste and still have the crisp of thinner fries.
I honestly don’t have any complaints. Considering how busy it was and it being their first day, the service was prompt, pleasant, and attentive. All the food (2 apps and 2 meals) came out hot and within a short period of time, and were cooked perfectly.
Paducah just got themselves a great little sports bar for people who appreciate higher quality versions and a different take on the everyday food and beer we all love.
And no, I have zero vested interest in this place. I just really like good food and craft beer, especially when watching my teams play ⚜️ ⚾️
If you’re looking for the best burger/service in Paducah, JD’s is the clear winner on my trip!
Belle was the best waitress ever!
