With not a lot of choices in Greenville to choose from, we decided on JTs for a 50th Birthday party. I had called, the day before, to reserve a table for 10 @ 6pm, in the back room, if it was available. I arrived at 5:45 pm, to set balloons up. Walked into the back room, and it was freezing! Asked someone if they could turn the heat up, and the manager came and fiddle farted with the thermostat forever. She went to walk away and said, it should warm up soon. I hoped so because it was so cold. I walked over to check the thermostat, and it was 60° in their! Waitress said if we all talked, it would warm up quicker! Really!? It NEVER warmed up! For someone that is on blood thinners, it was ridiculous! You would think, calling a day ahead to reserve the room, they could have turned the heat up sooner!! The waitress was quick and an overall good waitress. I ordered the waterboy, and it was over cooked! A party of 10, ordered, ate and paid within 1 hour and was heading home to warm up!! We will be driving out of town for now on for all our parties. This place has really gone down hill! It used to be a great place to eat. Not anymore!!! Overall 1 out of 5 stars, because the waitress was good!

I have eaten at JT’s 3-4 times but I have only eaten 1 menu item. Their chicken tenders are out of this world good! I always order baked potato and corn casserole! But the other highlight of the meal is their brewed tea I have gone through the drive thru just to get some of their tea! I have never tasted tea soo good!

JT’s Brew and Grill has, in my opinion, a lot of potential to be an exceptional restaurant even more than what it already is. First and foremost, I will address the overall employees. My waitress was very friendly even after I had to return my steak because it was overcooked. The food is great. After the return of steak, salad was fresh, and steak tastes wonderful, knocking the Texas Roadhouse out of the park. A couple things I would improve on and or change. The employee table near the bar, employees hanging out on their phones, counting tips, cups, cans and clothes on chairs and table. I would move this to a separate private area. Overall cleanliness is good with a few exceptions; One being the numerous flies and knats flying around. The other would be that it could use a cleaning on the blinds, light fixtures and window sills, bathroom could use a better cleaning as attention to detail is imperative. I would and do plan to return here, I hope I can give a little input to maybe improve to see an always enduring and successful restaurant

Lunch specials are the right amount of food without the doggy bag. I got the burger sliders and her the chicken parm sub. Both were good!
For those into good fries… The fries here are the good ones! Crunchy exterior with that mash potato interior. I’ve considered just driving thru for these when needing a snack in the area. There is a drive thru by the way.
Overall great location for whatever time of day.

Everything was incredibly disappointing. The corn chips of my appetizer were old, stale, and reheated, the artichoke dip was burnt, my sandwich was just a bland pile of salad on a bun, with almost no actual meat on it. And to top it all off, my wife has been getting sick since we ate there. This place used to be decent. I don’t know if its new staff or management, but it is not worth the time or money.

Our waitress was AWESOME! There was 4 adults and 2 children, so lots of cross table talking. She got our orders correct and revisited our table in a timely fashion.

I’ll start by saying the place is clean and it’s a nice environment. Our waitress was super sweet and she hustled. The bad part is, the food was not that good; especially for the price. I got the Parmesan chicken (supposedly) and then the “premium” side of Mac & cheese that cost $3 up charge. It was pretty bad for the price. Nice experience but it was my group of 8s first and last. Total bill with normal tip, $40 for just ME!

This place has really good food & the servers were really good too. My nephew got the Beachcomber Chicken Sandwich & my brother got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I wasn’t very hungry, since we had a great lunch earlier in Indiana, so I asked the servers (yes servers, there were 2) if I could order from the Children’s section of the menu & they said yes, so I ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich with Swiss cheese & she said I got one side, so I chose Fries. Everyone’s food was great & then she brought our bills !!! Mine should of been $3.99 plus tax since I was told I could order from the Children’s Menu. Instead it was like $11.81 with 20% tip (if that’s what I chose to leave) & I when I asked why my bill was $11.81 instead of $3.99 + tax she said “they” went ahead & charged you for an adult size portion Grilled Cheese & Fries!!!!!! I said wait a minute, I said I wasn’t very hungry & I wouldn’t of ordered this had I known this was going to happen. I got a runaround so I went ahead & paid it. Then we got to talking & when I looked at my bill, I was charged $7.99 for a Grilled Cheese & $1.29 for Fries. I then asked to speak to the manager!!! She came to the table & tried to defend the price & I said look, I asked the servers if I could order from the Children’s Menu & they said yes!!! They didn’t say yes, but we’re going to charge you for adult prices (I didn’t even see a Grilled Cheese sandwich listed anywhere except on the Children’s menu) or I wouldn’t of ordered it, because I wasn’t really hungry. She wanted to give me the difference in a gift card & I declined, because I won’t be going back, so she did reluctantly give me $5 + change back but didn’t say she was sorry.

I would keep visiting this place for the fried zucchini and ranch dip alone! Hubby said it’s the best tenderloin he’s ever eaten. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. The staff are polite and the restaurant looks clean. Definitely recommend!
UPDATE 10/8/19: get the Fettucine Alfredo and substitute the chicken with their shrimp!! It won’t disappoint you, I promise!!!
