J&T Thai Street Food is a gem. The food is delicious, prices are reasonable, and the service is fast and efficient. The place is clean with an A health rating, which always matters to me.

They offer both dine-in and carryout, and either way the experience is smooth. Staff is responsive and gets your order in and out quickly without sacrificing quality.

If you’re craving solid Thai food with great service, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Pad Thai was dry and lacked all kind of flavor. The noodles all clumped together as a block by the time I drove home from the restaurant. Fried tofu was too spongy due to the thinness of tofu after being fried. Luckily I took some fish sauce and vinegar with me home so I could make the dish somewhat edible. Still could only ate half of it then had to throw the rest away. This is my second time here and I also didn’t enjoy the meal last time either, so definitely won’t be back.

Casual take out style restaurant with plenty of seating available in the front and back of restaurant. I had the fried rice with beef and it was delicious. There weren’t many dining in customers but due to take out and delivery it took about 20 minutes to get the food. It was worth the wait.

So I came back a second time today for lunch. I order 1 egg roll, tum young soup 2 spicy with Vegas , chicken and the garlic pork ribs. First the egg was good today. But my soup came out with tofu in it. So I told her about it. So she brings me some chicken with some kind of thing noodles. She threw the other one out. The new one had no veggies in it. So I first ate tge garlic pork ribs. This really sucked. A lot of fat on the little pieces of pork and not much meat. I made tge best of it. I then took the chicken from the so called tum young and put it the plate and ate with egg roll sauce, with the cut cumbers. I made the best of my $21.00 lunch. With a $4,00 tip.
So I’ll go back again and try something else. As I was there I also noticed they need to clean the air in take cover and clean around the walls and lights hanging down. Clean the front of the bottom of the counter and clean the hanging lights inside. Plus do touch up on the paint in place.. after 15 years there. You need to look at these things. But that is just me. Maybe also carry zero coke. lol

I’m here to say the yellow curry was great…spice level was perfect and very flavorful. Not sure why everyone is complaining. And o ordered through DoorDash.

A small Thai spot with delicious flavorful food. Located in a strip mall in Linda Vista, this unassuming little Thai spot has huge balanced flavors. The interior is clean with an industrial design that feels a bit haphazard. The staff is friendly. The food came out fast and hot. The noodles were still steaming. The flavors are deep, rich, and yet still balanced. Some of the best Pad Thai I have ever had. The prices are good considering the portions are quite large. This place will satisfy any Thai cravings you might have. Well worth a visit!

We were tired and hungry, so we approached this Thai restaurant. The guy at the bar who ordered dishes was quite patient. When faced with the names of dishes we didn’t understand, he would explain to us what they were.

The appetizers were fried and salty, too salty and hard. The soup didn’t taste good. All the meat was very salty. What’s wrong with the chef?

All tableware is disposable, which is not environmentally friendly.
The food is poor and the chef is very poor. It tastes worse than the meals I cook myself.

But I still gave tips ,when I was in this kind of fast food.

I’ll stop by J&T Thai Street Food if I’m in a rush. I attend the university up the street. I must say that the two times I have been, I found the food a little on the drab and uninteresting side. Nevertheless, it is an option in this area and the staff are friendly and attentive, and the interior is fairly spacious.

Great Thai street food with authentic taste and a modern setting. We ordered the pork leg stew over rice, garlic pork short ribs, fried chicken wings, chicken lettuce wraps, duck noodle soup, yellow curry with chicken and a Thai ice tea. It was all delicious and very satisfying. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some good Thai street food!

My favorite Thai street food place in SD! I like what we ordered, especially Khao Mun Gai Tod, which reminds me of street food anywhere in Thailand. The food is good, and the staff are friendly!
