Blue Ridge Cafe is a gem. The food is consistently great, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care and the staff truly makes the experience even better. I asked for chalula for my breakfast burrito. The owner told me they didn’t have any. I was pretty sure I could see it behind the counter, but didn’t want to be difficult. When I went to pay, another customer handed a bottle of chalula back to her right in front of me. She offered no explanation or apology. It did not make me feel like a valued customer at all.

I was traveling on the road and had to get something to eat. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess, who provided us with a tag that had the server name on it. The server was quick to greet us. The food was fast, which I loved. The decorations are truly a down south vibe, which i love. This location was clean, which I also love.

Stopped while driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, it was a Sunday and it was busy. You know it’s got to be good if there’s a wait. We waited a short 15 minutes and the waitress sat us and immediately took our order.
The service was fast even though they were busy. I ordered the Blue Ridge Breakfast. It was delicious, I chose the pancake for my option, it was big and tasty with powdered sugar.
Definitely make this diner a stop while passing through. I’m glad we did.

Wonderful restaurant to get breakfast all day or lunch! Each time my husband and I visit we have a late breakfast. The food is great. Customer service is excellent! I would highly recommend and am looking forward to our next visit and meal!!

Had the most lovely breakfast here. It was a perfect Sunday morning in October. Great atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and genuine. Loved the coffee and tea! The food was good quality and delicious. Great small town hospitality.

We ate there Friday and Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend. Got there a bit later on Saturday and we had to wait for a table and then, once our order was taken, the wait was very long. We had no wait on Friday. On Saturday a couple people cancelled their order and left because it was taking so long to get their food. The crowd was due in part to the Bluegrass festival going on at Chantilly Farms and a large takeout order. I don’t think the kitchen is very big. The food is good, it’s clean with a very welcoming and warm decor. I got the short stack and couldn’t eat them all. My husband got the Farmer’s Breakfast and a side order of home fries. The home fries were like over cooked potato chips but everything else was very good with big portions. The water is excellent! No, seriously, it is. You should try it, just don’t be in a hurry.
