We stopped for lunch. A very pleasant place in a peaceful setting as reflected in the attached photos. The restaurant is part of a large complex that includes a winery, many seating areas and an apple orchard with self-picking. The service is professional and attentive, the food is delicious.

My wife and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary at Nashoba Valley Winery, and it was such a special experience. We started with lunch at J’s Restaurant on the outdoor patio and loved everything – strawberry avocado salad, soup, baked brie, swordfish tacos, and two flights of mimosas. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and both the hostess and waitress were excellent, making us feel very welcome. A perfect way to celebrate!

This is a definite gem in the area and an excellent place for a night out for couples or friends. We went for a dinner on the weekend and made reservations online. Once we arrived we were seated immediately in one of the smaller rooms in the charming old house. Our server was very friendly and extremely helpful with some excellent suggestions on her favorites from the menu. We each had an appetizer, entree and dessert and everything we ordered was delicious with ample portions, excellent flavors and high quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable especially with what you get. We would order everything we had again but hope to return and try new dishes in the future.

Great lunch here. We got an Apple mocktail that was delicious and the soups and sandwich. Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff was lovely. A beautiful luncheon.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight! The Tapas appetizer was so good and paired nicely with our wine choices. Our dinners were so delicious we had the pork tenderloin and the scallops and added a custom flight of wines. For desert, we shared the lemon raspberry cake. The service was fantastic! We can’t wait to come back soon!

Cutest restaurant ever! Went here during the fall months for dinner. Has a rustic homey vibe, sat right next to a warm fire and loved it! For an appetizer we got the fondue cheese and apples with the wine pairing. It was delicious and the wine pairing was perfect. The dinner was also great with perfect portions. I would definitely recommend this place. But try to book out in advance, it’s worth it! Also try the blueberry Merlot I’ve been dreaming about it!

Excellent service and the food and wine are always phenomenal. Their seasonal menu offerings are on point, with something for everyone. Our last visit, September 17th 2022, we chose to dine outdoors on the patio, though the interior of this restaurant is quite charming.

I will start out with this, best restaurant in the area. If you have customers you want to impress, and you work in Clinton, then this is the place to go. It gets 4.3 stars in my book. Service was nice with a friendly wait staff. This is the only place I’ve been to that requires a reservation since the staff based on reservations.

My coworkers and I had the Premier Prix Fixe menu. I had the lobster cake, bison osso bucco, and chocolate mousse tartlets. Lobster cake was moist and well seasoned, a nice starter. The osso bucco is where disappointment set in. A coworker and I both had this and noted the same thing…was a bit over cooked…you had to use a knife to cut it and it was a bit dry…it should just fall off the bone. We also noted that it could have been a bit more seasoned…I think seasoning in S+P for 24 hours would have made a huge difference in both taste and tenderness. The green beans and mashed potatoes did make a nice addition, but not enough to save the dish.

When dessert rolled around, I felt like I only needed one mousse tartlet. It was fine, but nothin truly notable about the dessert.

But the wine we had was fantastic. The Malbec was bursting with juicy, ripe red fruits. It was so good we ordered two bottle of it and felt a little disappointed we wouldn’t be able to get more after we left Boston.

So overall, I’d try this place again…but the main meal’s meat was a huge let down.

I had a great experience dining here. Really authentic old New England feel, not rustic but quaint and charming. This is paired with a fantastic scratch kitchen! Rotating menu means there always something new to try. I recommend this for a special evening in a relaxing environment. Check the menu before you go to see what you’re getting into.

We always have a great experience at J’s. The restaurant is beautiful and charming, the atmosphere is lovely, the food is fantastic and the wine, of course. Is delicious. I’m not a wine person but J’s is the only place I willingly drink wine and the server pairing recommendations have never steered me wrong.
