We’ve had lunch here a couple times now and J’s has yet to disappoint. The friendly owner bartends and takes your order. This place is family owned and has been around for almost a decade. Don’t let the exterior and dive bar atmosphere fool you – the food is unmatched. Typically I bring leftovers home, but I find myself scraping every last bit off of the styrofoam plates. This is a no frills establishment with an extensive food menu that is cooked to order and a small beer list with the domestic classics like Budweiser and shock top (also has a full bar) in non-standard beer pour sizes.
The Garlic and Orange chicken has the perfect amount of breading, light and super crispy fried. The egg rolls look thick, but also surprisingly delicately crispy and clearly visible meat and veggies inside. The Mongolian beef was slightly crispy, tender, and encased in a super flavorful sauce.
Know what you’re walking into, chat with the owner, and enjoy some of the best Chinese food at a super affordable price, and you’ll be back time and time again.

J’s service is on point and the atmosphere is definitely one of a genuinely cool dive bar with both darts and ping pong. My only complaint is the food isn’t consistently good but when it is good, the spicy chicken wings are especially great.

This place is a genuine DIVE BAR (the place looks like it has probably been around since WW II!), and has the shitty food to match! I never went to a bar that served Chinese food before, so I tried someWORST TERIYAKI CHICKEN I have ever had-and all for $11.95!). I guess that is what I get for eating “drunk food” sober!

It’s so bomb! The owner was so polite and had great vibes. I ordered the sea bass and chow mein and rice. Just ask and you will receive. He makes it happen, food is amazing I recommend a few people that I had try my food and they wouldn’t stop talking about it. Love that! Bar is great plus reasonable prices.
