The family makes this place a top class gem.
They try with 5 or 6 real Korean garnishes for your meal. We started with traditional kimchi pancake – something delicious in the recipe I couldn’t identify but a real rich down home flavor.
3 of us had bipimbop – a little light on the protein but th flavor was delicious. The fourth plate was excellent bulgogi (Korean bbq) with awesome flavor and delicious sauce.
I really want to try the fried chicken on next visit

Came here for a lunch date with the hubby and the reviews did not disappoint!!! The place is the cutest, our host/waiter was such a great person and the FOOD I mean it was exactly what I was craving. I ordered bibimbap with beef and hubby pork and their fried chicken. Everything was great and we’ll definitely be back for more!!

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I heard this spot was really good through friends and family throughout the years! I am always around this area for work and I finally decided to stop by! Listen, the colors of the building should tell you alone this is the spot, the atmosphere when you walk in feels like of hard work and passion. Now the food…. I ordered the Beef Bibimpap. It was the energy I needed for they day! The flavors, the crunch, the textures were something everyone should try. Even the water they serve was amazing. This plate was a hit! The price was perfect enough to split with someone. I will be coming back soon and can’t wait to share this spot with the family!!!

My wife and I just found this outstanding Korean restaurant. It was our first visit, of many more I guarantee. If you like or would like to try korean food, this is a must place. Byran and his parents, a lovely Korean family, took fantastic care of us. If you don’t give this family run business a try you are surely missing out!

We just discovered this Korean restaurant, which opened a year ago. We had the most delicious bulgogi lunch. The food is authentic. It is family owned and they are extremely friendly. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I’m not too experienced with Korean food and what a great introduction! The waiter was chill and helped pick out some great suggestions. The chicken bibimbap was so tasty. Nice earthy sweet flavors and the sauce heightened it all. Love the sides that come with the entrees (kimchi, marinated daikon, etc) MUST TRY the Korean green onion pancake and the chicken wings. I’ll be dreaming about those flavors and textures!

An enthusiastic two thumbs up for J’s! Best Korean BBQ in Sarasota! Sarasota has needed quality Korean BBQ and it’s finally arrived at J’s. Quality ingredients and expert preparation. You feel like you are in your friend’s parents kitchen eating their special dishes. It’s THAT good.
