We’ve visited here twice in the past two weeks. Our 1st meal was their amazing Friday night prime rib deal. It was worth every penny, and we couldn’t get enough of the smoked Aggies. On our 2nd visit, we tried the Spicy Chicken Clucker sandwich, and the owner recommended the white cheddar mac and cheese, which was fantastic. Their corn muffins are our son’s favorite, so we had to order extra for him. The owner is very friendly and very passionate about his food. We can’t wait to come back and try more food.

Been wanting to try J’s for a while now and it did not disappoint. Had the burnt end sandwich (minus the cheese) and beans for a side. Burnt ends were tender and smoky with good bark. Beans were good with chunks of brisket in them. But the high light was having the owner offer a taste test of a rack of lamb he just finished. OMG!!! One of the best bbq meats I have ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a LOT). I sincerely hope it makes it on the menu! Great little BBQ spot. I’ll be back!

This place was amazing. I met the owner. Josh and the service was really good. It was quick after we ordered. The food was hot and tasty. I am definitely going to come back here and bring my friends. I would recommend it to people that are particular about their barbecue because it’s good barbecue and their sweet tea is also good.

Very Good. We were visiting last week from Michigan. We were heading out of Olathe, Kansas and wanted some good BBQ so we decided to stop in. We ordered the 2 meat dinners. I had the ribs (tender & full of smoky flavor) and ham paired with Baked beans (the best ever) and potato salad (made perfectly). Also the beef burnt ends were tender. My Fiancé had the ribs and brisket which he loved. When we visit again, we will be back.

J’s BBQ Smokehouse is a fantastic spot for a quick and delicious bite! We walked right in, no waiting in line, placed our orders, and our food was served hot, fresh, and quickly. The prices are fair, and the food is truly good – my taste buds especially enjoyed the variety of sauces. Beyond the food, the customer service was great; our waiter was polite and consistently kept our drinks refilled. Plus, the restaurant was noticeably clean, which is always a bonus. I highly recommend trying the chicken wrap, and definitely don’t miss the burnt ends, whether you get them as a dinner or in a sandwich!

Food was excellent! We had Ribs, burnt ends, seasoned fries, slaw, pit beans, potato salad, mac n cheese, and cornbread. The only item we didn’t absolutely love was the potato salad but it was good. The pit beans are smokey and a bit sweet with Perfectly cooked beans and meat. The slaw is vinegar and sweet based but not over powering… the cabbage is the star. Mac n cheese tastes homemade. We tried 4 different flavors of sauce- original, apple twinge, Hickory smoked and burning apple(I think that’s the name). I liked the first 3. My husband preferred the apple twinge. Burnt ends were big, juicy and smoked well. The ribs were delicious!!! Perfectly smoked and not dry at all. Dakota was so helpful and kind. He honestly made the meal that much better. While trying to figure out what to get he was patient and helpful. He answered MANY questions and knew what he was talking about. It’s a 47 minute drive for us which we will willingly make again for this gem
