Super dry. Ordered a tree meat combo. With brisket, beef links and beef ribs. Everything was so dry and overcooked. I didn’t want to believe other bad reviews so I had to see for myself.

The beef brisket was too lean, the beef ribs were overcooked. Both dry. The BBQ sauce couldn’t even save it. The coleslaw had fruit in it in a way that wasn’t complementary. The mac was mushy and was probably the best dish but there was a low bar. Potato salad was decent as most BBQ spots’ potato salads are.

The staff weren’t unfriendly but pretty low energy. As another review noted, La Cienega is noisy so if you decide to move forward with eating from here, get it to-go.

The food was very delicious. The portions were more than enough for four of us. It was truly a great experience.

Pulled pork sandwich is amazing! Great flavor and portion size. Beans were also very good just a bit small. Man that took my order was very nice. Wonderful experience I’ll definitely be returning

Saddest moment in BBQ history. Ribs have no meat! They serving up bones with sauce. Look at the pics; see for yourself!!
Mac & Cheese had no flavor; low quality ingredients. Snooze fest.
Then I felt like I was in jail with the slices of white bread in plastic wrap.
However:
THE CHOCOLATE CAKE IS FIRE. SO GOOD.

I was really hoping to like this place but the meat was so dry I couldn’t finish it even with bbq sauce. The brisket and pulled pork had no flavor, the beef links had good seasoning but also too dry. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because their cake is good

I really wanted to give a 5 cause dude who worked when I went was good energy 🙂

full breakdown: the beef ribs were amazingly tender, too bad they drowned them in waaaay to much sauce ( which they advertise memphis style could go either way dry or wet ig)

The “sweet potato” pie tasted like store bought pumpkin pie( my wife took the first bite she never had sweet potato pie so i was reeeaaalll surprised when she said “oh it taste like pumpkin pie”)

Potato salad tasted store bought

The mac n cheese was nice n good tho.

Worker had good vibes.

Besides the food being mediocre (potato salad/cole slaw are not very good either) – the rib tips, which are listed as “all the meat with none of the bone,” are exactly the opposite! More than half the rib tips I got had bone. One last complaint (when ordering from Doordash) you list them as a sandwich – but, of course, it came as NOT a sandwich. But hey, thanks for the free slices of Wonder bread on the side – they’ll go nicely, into the trash…

Their beef ribs are PERFECTION – WAY better than Bludsoe’s. The photo shows only the last two of FIVE fall-off-the-bone, very meaty ribs! The owners are super nice folks too. I’ve also had the briscuit – super tender but a tad dry (but it was right at the end of the day). Their hot bbq sauce is genuinely hot, too! I really love this place and I’ll be returning!!!
