I’m gonna chalk this up to it being a new location but YEESH. Our bread was incredibly undercooked and the flavor of everything else was bland, except for the salami, so it was all I could taste on my Italian with turkey instead of cap.

I stopped into Jreck Subs in Rome, NY on their very first evening open, and I was bery impressed. Even though they were crazy busy and dealing with a few customers giving them a hard time, the entire staff stayed polite, professional, and genuinely kind the whole time.
My food was absolutely amazing-fresh, made perfectly, and worth the wait. You could tell the employees were under a lot of pressure, but they handled it with smiles and great attitudes, which says a lot about the team and management.
Huge shoutout to everyone working today and tonight. For a first day, they knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend checking this place out and supporting them!

Waited in line from 1030 to 1115 with only 4 people ahead of me they forgot to make my chicken so i had to stand aside and wait for them to cook it then after they cooked it they wrapped the sub brought it to the register and when i asked to put stuff on the sub they told me they already wrapped it. I walked out. Meanwhile the whole time i was waiting the staff did nothing but bad mouth every customer that was in line ordering whether it was they ordered more than one subs or they put mayo and hot sauce on there subs they just kept bad mouthing every person ordering food. And my coworker got his food and the meat was raw.

My coworkers and I decided to try out Jreck subs in rome ny. I want to start by saying the staff were polite and did their best. The manager even jumped in to help with orders to keep things moving smoothly. The bread tasted undercooked and soggy. The bread is really the only complaint. The ranch cheese fries were good! I hope this could be improved in the future as I know they just open and are working out all the kinks!

Sub was great. Staff was friendly and thorough. Anyone who rates this 1 star and spoke badly about the sub taste, or the time it took to get the sub (on the first day they opened) are exactly the people in your family you can’t stand seeing even one time a year during the holidays. If you’ve ever had jrecks subs… this is exactly the same. Will be here multiple times a week now that I don’t have to drive to Syracuse or Watertown
