What a hidden gem. The regular boudin balls are so good. So crispy on the outside & full of flavor on inside. The beans & rice good. Jambalaya had chicken, shrimp & sausage. Didn’t scrimp on them either. Very good depth of flavor. Meat pies really good also. Will try the gumbo when it cools off outside…currently 104. Heard the burger is good but just wanted cajun go to food today. Nothing overly spicy…just really tasty.

Fun Visit with owner. Could taste the crawfish in the Boudin Balls. Etoufee had backend heat but need a bit more base flavor to hit our LA roots. Generous portions. Fried fish and shrimp had good flavor and crisp. PoBoy was good. Foods doesn’t beat the big boys but not by much. NOT disappointed. Will be back!

I’ve had two boils from this place and they were both great. Good size shrimp and crawfish with just enough spice. Sausage is good as well. Prices are very fair. The people that run this place are the highlight though . Definitely put this on your list when you are passing through Nac.

Best Cajun Food in the area. They also have Burgers that are the Bomb. You can also buy stuffed specialty products from the freezer. They serve beer and have inside and outside seating areas.

Excellent crawfish! Large, easy to peel and seasoned just right. I, by myself, even though they were huge ate 5lbs. If you know me that’s the best compliment any place could ever get because I eat like a bird! Oh, also wear gloves so you don’t take the seasoning home with you. That’s my hand in the gloves. No pain 🙂 you all know what I mean!

I got the cajun burger and it was rather enjoyable like another reviewer my burger was very soggy it was the only burger I’ve ever had to eat with knife and fork it was very good however the quality of the patties leaves something to be desired they seem very low cost like the kind you get in a big box from Sam’s or Costco for cheap. The burger was VERY big and fed me, a man well over 350 for 2 meals. Will be going here again. Parking is also a madman style wasteland with far too many trucks with trailers (pickup trucks) taking up the only rock path? So I had to park in the grass
