Wow. I googled “best food near me” and this place came right up. I must say, the search delivered! We were left pretty speechless, initially, by the size and value, alone, and then once we tried our first bites, we were absolutely in heaven! Our juicy, delicious burgers were cooked perfectly. Awesome, fresh fries! We will definitely be back. Very friendly staff, too! Here is a picture of the Memphis burger with pulled pork and an onion ring.

How have I not known of this place sooner? I’m a local, and this is now my new favorite burger joint.
Mom & Pop shop vibes with a modest-sized space. When you walk in, you’ll seat yourself with options of booths, a few two-person tables, and a counter right in front of the grill. There were a few regulars that came in who knew the staff and the staff knew them, adding to the warm atmosphere and feeling of community.
The kitchen is open concept, adding to their transparency and pride in their food. I can see why, I tasted it! Fresh burgers, fresh cut fries, and sauce that’s freshly made in-house. I had the Louisiana burger with fresh cut fries, and my boyfriend had the double bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries (exactly what he was craving). One of the only places I can eat a burger and feel good after. I didn’t feel bloated or heavy like I do eating burgers elsewhere.
The service is top-notch. Our server was Melissa, the only server on the floor when we came, and she rocked it. Clearly experienced, very timely, friendly and relatable, she was motivated by giving us a good experience and serving us good food.
We are definitely coming back.

Delicious, huge juicy burger. I believe it was called the Roadhouse. I didn’t know it would have 2 patties in addition to the pulled pork on top. When it came out I thought I’d never be able to eat it all – but I ate more than I expected to because it was very good. The fries are fresh cut and also delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and they have a kids menu. My son easily found something he liked. We will definitely be back.

Worth the drive!
I came out here for burgers and wasn’t disappointed. Tried the Roadhouse Burger (minus the lettuce — they did forget the sauce on the side, though). Still tasty!
Also had the Memphis Burger, and that one was next-level good.

This is THE BEST burger I’ve had in years! Cooked exactly how I wanted, juicy and flavorful. I got the burger with Mac and Cheese on it and it came with hand cut fries. I highly recommend this place! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming!

I can’t believe I haven’t done a review on this local delight. I have been here a few times, always super friendly and tries to help everyone timely, usually pretty busy.
I got the downtown burger this time. Now I am not a fan of Mac n cheese, but this Mac mash up is the best messy burger. The hand cut fries are sssssooooooo good. But dont take my word for it, go there and then get some delicious ice cream too.

Breakfast platter was decent; very solid but nothing exceptional. Bacon stood out; super crispy and flavorful.
Fried chicken was the star of the show. Fried to perfection and the coating was seasoned beautifully.
Burger missed expectations; not enough chili, too much bun, and shocked it didn’t come with a side, especially at a diner.
Still great lunch stop!

This was our first time at Joy’s, and it definitely won’t be our last! Their burgers are so good and had such a great flavor. My bf got their fried chicken and really enjoyed how juicy and tender the meat was. The staff are all very sweet and have made the experience even better. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their delicious food!

My husband and I went on a Sunday morning around 9:30am. I had my heart set on a burger. I got Joy’s burger. Excellent! My husband wanted breakfast but decided on the Naughty burger. He loves peanut butter and wanted to try it. He liked it but wouldn’t get it again because it wasn’t what he thought. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant. The burgers were 12.99 each and came with fries. The fries were a little over done for my preference but were super good. 2 women were running the place and the wait staff was very friendly and on top of things. I will definitely eat here again. The burgers were nice sized for the price. Great flavor. So if you’re looking for great food, try this place. Maybe next time I’ll try breakfast. That looked great as well.
