Reviews
The curly fries were well seasoned but not very crispy which was sad. Fun environment and very tasty food but a little expensive for what you get.
Joyland does have parking available behind the restaurant, but it’s a paid lot about $3 per hour. If you’re trying to save money, there is some free street parking nearby, but you’ll have to get lucky with timing and availability.
Food:
I ordered the Deluxe Joy Burger, and while it was decent, it wasn’t anything mind-blowing. The real star of the meal was the curly fries crispy, flavorful, and just downright perfect. I’d go back just for those!
Service:
The staff was friendly and service was good overall no complaints there.
Overall Experience:
Joyland is definitely worth checking out at least once. It’s a fun vibe, good food, and solid service. That said, it’s not the kind of place I’d find myself coming back to regularly. More of a “been there, tried it” kind of spot.
EDIT: the duck claw machine was the best part.
They are not big on customizing things however. We were told the chef created the items and he doesn’t like it to be edited. You may like it the way it comes, you may not. If you’re picky…may not be the place for you. They’ll take stuff you don’t want off, but they do not want to add things to it. Staff were nice though in explaining things though.
