The food was good. The coffee was just ok. But what threw me off is the paper bag they gave me to carry the togo boxes. The bag doesn’t have a handle. I couldn’t hold the soup and the coffee. It was very difficult to carry them home. I decided to put my gloves on as it was very cold. I ended up throwing away the coffee when I walked out as there was no way I could hold it. I paid for the coffee but didn’t get to drink it.

Wonderful service and beautiful decorations all around. They have the best boba and noodles I have ever had in the whole United States of America. Highly recommend 10/10.

This place needs more recognition and this spot needs to blow up with patrons!
Great menu, great prices!
Pho was fantastic, think Mai Lee quality without the Brentwood prices, I had Pho Tai for 12.00 and the brother was spot on.
Where it really stole the show was they have SEAFOOD BOILS, we had one with head on shrimp, snow crab, corn, potato’s and eggs.
The shrimp were huge as was the crab legs and we did the joy sauce which is like a garlic butter Cajun, it comes out in a bag but we dumped it in a bowl, the quality and freshness compared to other more American seafood boils in the area and as far superior.
It was a Sunday and there was a few tables but this place needs to be on everyone’s radar for fire Vietnamese food and boils.

I really wanted to love this place BUT while expressing my concern regarding these oversized mussels and my fear of them the owner expressed that she had never had a “complaint” with them and was unwilling to swap them out for something of the same price. She didn’t listen for understanding she listened to respond only. Immediately when she came out she was defensive. Meanwhile I’m stuck with mussels that I’m terrified to eat. I don’t ever have to visit this place again! Especially while having to constantly slap a gnat away!!!!

Looking for soup and sandwich… Joyful House Vietnamese Cuisine is the place in St Louis. Just devoured a bowl of the beef pho at Joyful House and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the thinly sliced beef was so tender. The fresh herbs and a squeeze of lime really tied it all together. The Vietnamese Banh Mi with traditional cold cuts and vegetables hit the spot. Crusty and soft roll held up throughout my meal. Skip over the grilled prawns as they are tasty but toouch work and they aren’t cleaned before grilling . All aside, this is one BYOB I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re craving some fantastic pho!

Best pho in St. Louis is here! This is a hidden gem Vietnamese restaurant!! The restaurant is very spacious. It is next to a Vietnamese grocery store which I enjoyed shopping after a good meal. I love pho here and they also have special spicy vermicelli noodle soup with shrimp paste and pork blood (Bun Bo Hue) which was so good!! Vermicelli noodle with BBQ pork was also very good (no. 27). Grilled shrimp was very flavorful. Perfect place to grab a warm noodle soup in a cold weather.

This place is hands down my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in St. Louis. Every dish consistently delivers amazing flavors, and the fast service is definitely a bonus. Their very affordable prices make it an even better dining experience. Only wish they were open every day!
