Went here about 2 weeks ago. The food here is so flavorful! Their bean curd with mixed vegetables is delicious and my stomach did not feel bad after eating it like most places. As someone who just moved from NYC, 20 minutes is a long time to wait in the store for pickup, HOWEVER that may be how it is here in Delaware and also, it made me feel like the food was being prepared fresher instead of just thrown in sauce and served. It tasted fresh as well. I would definitely order food from here again. Portion sizes are generous as well.

I order barbecue chicken with shrimp fried rice. The chicken wings was tiny, dry and hard. The rice was like mash potatoes. Please DO NOT order from joyful gardens!

There were good and bad things about the order so they fell right in the middle. The chicken wings were fried perfectly and tasted great. One of the orders was incorrect. The young people who ordered with me enjoyed the eggrolls. They were not satisfied with the taste of the General Tso’s sauce. I think that service at the store was good, friendly and seemed to be thorough. The atmosphere in the store in reminiscent of the old school neighborhood restaurants. I will give them another try before making a hard decision on the location.

I ordered crab Rangoon and general tso chicken, and it was horrible. I woke up out of my sleep violently throwing up. I asked a few people after I had this experience about the place, and their opinion on it. They all had bad things to say. I wish I had asked before I ordered.

First time order via Door Dash. We bought L22. Hunan Shrimp and the L20. General Tso’s Chicken. My brother had the General Tso’s, and he said it tasted all right. My meal was bland, lacked spices and heat. And there were maybe three shrimp in the container. The taste didn’t improve with all the soy sauce. I didn’t finish it, even though I hate wasting food. I gave them two stars because my brother enjoyed his meal, but we won’t be ordering from them again.

Just ordered from them for the 1st and LAST time. Got the Shrimp Lo Mein & 2 Shrimp Rolls. The Lo Mein was almost totally dried out. The Shrimp Rolls were COMPLETELY dried out. Obviously they were very old (I’m talking days) and they just reheated them. They both had 2 very small shrimp in them. They had absolutely NO flavor. I asked them to pipe down on the onions in my Lo Mein and what they do? Loaded my food with a bunch of big, long, thick onions!! Then have a nerve to charge u extra for using a card and not even tell u…. Don’t waste your money with them.

Portion sizes were fantastic however it was a let down by the fact that the shrimp were over cooked because they boiled the shrimp first making them rubbery and not able to absorb the flavor of the sauce and the wonton Soup had zero flavor and wonton dough was to thick making them taste undercooked.
