Went and got lunch I normally go to the one on Pelham rd but was in the area. Stopped and got a steak and shrimp plate and a drink. This place has went down hill. As I was getting my drink looked down and seen a roach on the floor dead. After that I was waiting on my food and looking around this place is just disgusting. Wanted to ask for a refund but that had my food ready. They need to get to work in there and clean it up because it is just gross.

Good value for the price. I had the hibachi vegetables which was a generous portion of broccoli, onions and carrots. The sushi was simple and rolled well. Plenty of staff however when one person was taking a phone order the cooks were at the counter and ignored me until the cashier could hand me sauce.

First of all atmosphere gives struggle vibes. Tables were disgusting so we had to choose the least dirty table and wipe it down with a napkin. Floors had not been swept in idk how long. Backs of chairs looked dingy and grimy, cakes with dirt. We immediately thought it was the wrong place to be eating. Prices were about normal for hibachi style food. Ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi. Fast service though. We were expected to pick it up at the counter. We also got our own drinks. And the food was on a paper plate. Food was subpar something we thought we could’ve made at home. Came with two white sauce cups. Ehh not coming back but you may like it if it’s the only option. Felt like they decided to go the cheapest way on literally everything.

This restaurant needs to be closed for two days. The first is to conduct customer service training, as the workers had very poor customer service skills. The second is for a deep cleaning. The restaurant was very dirty, especially the dead cockroach in the middle of the floor. I even told the workers about it, but they just shrugged it off.

I eat here pretty frequently and O usually do not have any problems with my food. Today my lettuce is brown and my avocados in my sushi are black. What makes me nervous is if you are allowing this to go out to customers are you also allowing the meat and raw fish to go out like that? This would make anyone nervous. Please check with the kitchen and talk with them.

Utterly disgusted. We ordered a steak bowl with extra fried rice and broccoli. We received hair in our steak bowl. When we called to bring the issue to their attention they refused to refund the money unless we returned. Pictorial proof is able to be provided. We returned all of the food for a full refund, as this health code violation indicates they are unsanitary in their cooking practices and have a lack of care for their customers.

This is some of the worst sushi I ever tried in my life. There was a mysterious white substance resembling mayo on the fish. The wasabi came in the shape of a cube. Overall it was flavorless and I couldn’t force myself to finish eating it. I went and got lunch somewhere else. No other customers ordered sushi so they probably knew better. Will not go again. It’s not Joy of Tokyo it’s Sadness of Tokyo.

My experience has been a love and hate relationship. What I mean by this is that. One minute you’ll provide good service and the next would be unexpected . Portions are very important on both end. The prices are the prices small portion for a lot money isn’t reasonable nor equal give and take. Short version of my recent experience. $14 plus dollars for 3oz of steak and 6 pieces of shrimp this is the big main meal. Remind you I’ve witnessed other’s different portions as well as my self . Do you think for almost $15 is reasonable price for that amount remind you that is there side dish amount is available for those who want a side of this choice. Doesn’t make sense and this is common sense and a business mind set that would agree . As I’m a business owner custom always first . Being greedy is short comings and life spans. Food was delicious! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service was good. Went with a friend for a pick up order and thanks to her I have a new hibachi place to eat at. It was absolutely delicious. I’d definitely go back again.
