I have been going there for years but never again. I have ordered pot stickers for years, including here, it has always come with a delicious brown liquid dipping sauce. Today when I got home it had a chili oil sauce. I called to let them know and they instisted that was the sauce it always came with. That is not true, even for their place. I have never been given that sauce before and I would not order pot stickers if it did come with that crap. After agruing about it he said I could come back for the other sauce. No thanks. There are plenty of other chinese options. Very disappointing.

If I could give zero stars I would this was awful and I’m on lunch so I know I won’t be able to get my money back if you want something tasty this isn’t it. Chicken is soggy, Rice doesn’t taste fresh and for some reason as you see in the photo it’s almost empty on the right side , egg roll was decent at best but that could just be because everything else was so bad. This will be going straight to the trash

The food was delicious, the service was great, and the owner was very nice! We will definitely order again! The portions were incredibly generous (we tried the large sizes) and everything we ordered was amazing. Our favorite was the Moo Goo Gai Pan! Our 9-year-old agreed but we truly loved it all. We also ordered the Chicken Broccoli, Almond Chicken, Beef Pea Pod, Sesame Chicken (mild), Chicken Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, and fortune cookies, of course! 🙂 We ordered way too much food, but it was so good and we will have great leftovers tomorrow! The order was ready quickly, also! It became a new family favorite and we look forward to ordering again!

Haven’t been to Joy Fong for about 20 years. Should have been a heads up when the lady shooed me away from the door! The place is filthy! Ordered anyway……what a mistake. My husband has been ill since eating last night. He had sweet sour shrimp with steemed rice. I has peapod and shrimp…3 little shrimp. The egg rolls were hideous. Couldn’t tell by looking what was inside. Sure should have read the reviews. Only stopped because of the Kalamazoo Gazette story in November 2024. Guess they didn’t eat while they were there.

Sadly I have never been as sick as i got from here april 28th 2025. Got the sesame chicken, ate two bites and went wow this is bad. I didn’t finish it and within 10 minutes I was sick and puking for 18 hours. I’m just now back to consciousness.
If you go in you’ll quickly question how this restaurant got such a high rating. The only thing that makes sense is fake reviews because it’s clear as day this place is unsanitary and gross.
Don’t eat here, you will puke your guts out.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had by a mile. Sesame chicken was extremely tough to chew and incredibly bland. It literally made me sick, I threw up.
