Our first time eating at Filiberto’s in Quartzsite. No one in line at 1pm. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and helpful. We had our food fast. I’m a hot salsa girl, the red had nice heat and flavor. My man and I both ordered #3 two shredded beef crunchy corn tacos with rice and beans. Portions generous, tacos were crunchy and shred beef flavor was good. I do wish refried beans were hotter, their flavor and creaminess were great. I do think the floors needed to be cleaned. But the dribbles of food and salsa on floors could have been from a lunch crowd.

I ordered 2 tacos. Lengua and Carnitas. First of all. The lengua (beef tongue) was SO GOOD !!! So was the Carnitas! Second. These tacos are HUGE!!! I literally could have just ordered one but it’s ok! I had left overs for later! Lol I can only imagine the rest of their menu to be just as good! Need to go back!

Just left the Quartzsite location at 5:30 pm. Couldn’t even finish our taco and burrito. The meat was so old and crunchy. Must have been reheated numerous times. My husband had been there earlier in the day and couldn’t say enough good things about it. I think the meat must have been left over from the lunch crowd. We won’t be back. We went to the counter because the tables were all dirty and the clerk just handed us napkins. They weren’t even busy. He also doesn’t know how to welcome people to the store or smile.

The best Filiberto’s we have ever been to. It’s almost like a different restaurant than the ones in Phoenix. Everything just tastes fresher and they even have different salsa options. Delicious. We are considering taking a day trip here every now and then from Phoenix to get our fix

I came in here, because Taco Bell and McDonald’s next-door are stupidly expensive compared to what they are in larger towns. I stopped here, and their prices are the same as they are in larger towns, and I got quick friendly service and a tasty burrito. I appreciate the fact that they are not gouging, just because there is not a lot of competition.

I agree with Raymundo. I got the shredded beef burrito and it was deflated. More tortilla than meat. They cut down on the portion other locations give.
The chicken was not undercooked but it wasn’t crispy enough and the refried beans were missing the cheese.
The only good thing was the salsa.

If you want a flavorful, filling mexican meal for a great price, this is the place. Poortions are large enough you can feed 2 people with a single order. Clean well run place.

The owner is a beautiful sole very nice helpful and makes the best Mexican food I have had. Give it a try I promise you will be back. My grandson (handsome) the owner calls him also loves the kids menu and the owner even more he is three she the owner always makes time to come see him and say hi they are buds for sure. Be good to her she works hard and long hours and goes the extra mile. Thank you for everything. I’m a frequent flyer there for sure!!

Dont do it. Save your money go to the grocery store. Buy snacks at the gas station to hold you over.. dont say I didnt warn ya! This place was a waste of time waste of food waste of money. This supposed to be southern AZ this your guys version of mexican food?? This business is still here because its a fly trap for the tragically ignorant tourists that wander in like me. Please save yourself and save your local small business community! So many better places around even quartzsite than this truck stop slop
