I ordered Tinga tacos to go, and they were absolutely disgusting! Dry chicken, soggy tortilla, no taste. The service was the worst as well. The manager wasn’t kind at all. No pleasantries when I picked up my order or anything. I tried to get salsa to go with my tacos. After waiting in the drive thru for minutes, watching the manager flirt, play and dance with another worker behind the counter, I had to go in and get salsa. They tried to charge me for it. There’s not another Mexican restaurant in town (that I’ve been to) that would dare charge for salsa for tacos that I purchase at their establishment. I ended up throwing the tacos away, they were just gross.

If I could give service 10 stars I would! The staff is amazing and the owner couldn’t be sweeter. The food is always great and fresh, not to mention their delicious jalapeños! I try something new every time I go and nothing has disappointed me yet. I’m typically with a large group when I eat there and we are always taken care of. Never waiting too long for food or service and the food is always hot and right. The drinks are great too, my husband tried the Victoria beer per the owner’s reccomendation, and he really enjoyed it. The owner really cares and it shows. Easy 5 stars for me!

I love this place! The fish taco is killing my waist band, but delicious. I love getting a blackberry mojito. Absolutely incredible.
The owner Jorge is so nice! He can make a mean spicy sauce.
Also don’t skip the buffalo shrimp taco. Hit all the right spots with a cold beer.
They also have a great mocktail list!!

Best fish tacos in town. Everything I’ve tried there is fresh and delicious. Good churros and tres leches cake too. The owner, Jorge, is the best! The other man that is often there… not very friendly but I don’t crave special attention so not a problem for me. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in BR.

Very good taco, Tex-Mex restaurant. Easy to get to location. Super clean and neat. Straightforward menu, fair prices. Tasty food. Didn’t have a single thing that didn’t taste anything but good, fresh and honest portions.

This place is cute. I’ve driven by so many times and told myself I was gonna try them. I finally had the opportunity when in town visiting my folks again and was wholly unimpressed. I consider myself a connoisseur of sorts when it comes to gourmet tacos as I try them everywhere I travel. At the $6/taco price point I was expecting to be blown away. Unfortunately not the case. The tacos were pretty meh and the chicken was dry. I could have gone to any Mexican joint in a gas station in Texas and had better for a fraction of the cost.
Other than that, the service was great.

This place is an absolute gem! The tacos were incredible—fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. But what really made the experience stand out was the owner. He was so kind and welcoming, taking the time to chat with us and even share a bit of his story. He proudly showed us a pair of salt and pepper shakers that were handmade back in his hometown in Mexico—such a special, personal touch that made the whole visit feel more like being a guest in someone’s home than just another stop for food. You can truly feel the love and authenticity in every detail. Highly recommend stopping by—this spot has heart, soul, and seriously good tacos!

As a first-time customer of this restaurant, I was highly impressed with the exceptional service provided. The servers here demonstrated remarkable attention to detail by carefully navigating around my child and ensuring that all dishes were safely placed on the table.
Additionally, all the dishes that my family and I had were very delicious.

They have fresh authentic food. Love the tacos, nachos, quasadilla, and pull pork is everything along with the BBQ sauce. Fried ice cream is a treat. Everything is always fresh. Customer service always on point. Drinks are great.

I hate to leave a food review without photos – however I might be doing you a disservice by not at least sharing a warning to you.
First off I went on a Tuesday and that meant absolutely nothing to the server. They had no deals or specials – of all days. My problem is the expensive price for the mediocre food.
The tacos were $6 each. I ordered two for $12. When I tell you the basically threw cubed beef on fire, then onto a tortilla and topped it with enough cilantro to roll a blunt with, onion and served it. No flavor or life AT ALL for a $6 carne asada taco.
Then I ordered a $12 margarita – on Tuesday…. I believe they confused rubbing alcohol for tequila because it was disgusting. Literally the worse margarita I have had since Summer – mind you for $12 dollars, on a Tuesday.
My bill was $27 – for some cooked cow meat, a tortilla, rubbing alcohol mixed with juice.
Just take the extra drive to LSU for better food at cheaper prices.
No disrespect to the owner(s), but this was trash.
