My friends and I came here for brunch in December and we had a great experience!

We came on a weekday so we expected it to not be too crowded, but it was definitely packed. It was a little bit before we were able to get seated, but it wasn’t a problem. They kept checking in with us to let us know the status of our table, and at the end of the day, that’s the best way to do it! I don’t care about waiting as long as I know that I wasn’t forgotten! Usually when places are busy, also, it means that they are popular for a reason!!

Our server was very sweet and helpful with lots of great recommendations, help with adjusting to our dietary needs, and even letting us get creative with our drinks (I wanted a mimosa with cranberry and half orange juice, and she was very friendly about making that happen).

My friends had the breakfast burrito and they were obsessed with it! I just had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! It was huge and a little hard to eat, but that’s not a bad thing!! the breakfast potatoes were also great! The quality of food for this price point is unbeatable!

We also just loved the vibe of the place. It was decorated so uniquely with a combination of many different styles and decorations, but it all worked really well together. We were so interested in the decorations and spent a lot of time talking about them and admiring them! The space is pretty large and feels like a cozy little house on the inside. It was such a unique spot, and I definitely recommend it!

While in Lex for business in the A.M. I was looking for a breakfast apart from the usual and came across this place in goggle maps. Glad I went. I had the eggs Benedict & potatoes. Delicious! Awesome staff, made me feel very welcome and appreciated as a guest. Pleasant interior and clean. I’d drive the 30mins from home just to have breakfast here.

One of the best breakfast restaurants I’ve had. They have the right amount of food for everyone, those that eat light and those that don’t i had the two and two and hubby the pancakes with pecans and a side of bacon.

Coffee was a custom blend. Delicious. Not burnt tasting.

Service was very friendly and attentive.

A definite must when visiting Lexington. Great job guys!

Food was good, but overpriced.
Our waitress described the country ham as a think piece of ham on the bone, it was the thinnest breakfast ham I have ever seen.

We had a large group for breakfast, this place gets everything right. The food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. Best breakfast potatoes and bacon I have ever had. Biscuits and gravy were excellent. Everyone was impressed with their food, our waitress was fun, fast and very attentive. Always support locally owned businesses like this one! Prices were on the higher end of a typical breakfast but you get what you pay for. This isn’t Waffle House.

Great food. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was that biscuit gravy; it seemed a little off from what I was used to. Great homey place. Everybody knows everybody in here, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Very pricey though; one standard breakfast plate with eggs, potatoes, bacon, biscuit, gravy, was $19 with tax not including tip.

Enjoyed the grilled blue cheese salad. Wonderful the onion rings were perfect! My husband had a hamburger. He said cooked to perfection. Definitely on our Lexington lunch list.

Josie’s is a really great local establishment. It’s very busy so plan to wait 20 to 40 minutes for a table. It’s probably a little slower when there’s not a University of Kentucky football game going on. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is really good. Table service was a little slow, but other than that it was great. We had the Meathead omelette. It was very good.
