Josie’s is a Sicilian style pizzeria. We went on a cool, rainy evening and were the only ones there. The interiors were very clean and modern. Loved all the pictures on the walls, very nice touch. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly. They have a good selection of pizza and pasta. We ended up ordering the vodka sauce pizza. It is a 12 inch pizza for $22 and can easily be shared by 2 or even 1 if you are really hungry. Loved the taste of the vodka sauce and the chewy pizza base. This pizza was done right

I am so thrilled that I found this fresh brick-oven pizza spot in the area!!! My son rates the pizza the BEST in the nation! He says:”Mama, I would like to say it is the best in the world! Then there is Roma’s pizza . But seriously, the cheese texture and flavor is substantial! The crust is so crunchy! The dough is perfectly thin that holds all ingredients very well. I don’t usually like basil but Josie’s gives a very subtle kick. I don’t mind it at all. The only thing I would say is less than perfect is the cheese distribution. My son and I regularly have these mama-son food/eating dates. Today happens to be his 11.5 yrs old birthday. So I would like to get something he loves. Margarita pizza or St. Rocco or sashimi?
I searched on Yelp in the area and Josie’s caught my eyes with all red shining stars. I texted Josie right way and she responded me in no time with honesty ( because the prices on Yelp menu is different from her other social media ones) and sincerity. Impressive! I know my guts feeling has never done me wrong.
Josie is extremely accommodating. She made a special arrangement for me to pickup at 3:45pm instead of waiting for 4pm since that is her opening hours. My son was SO surprised that his eyes tripled seeing me got into the car with a personal Margarita pizza in hand! That s priceless!
Josie told me that they would have chairs in the lot by the end of this month. Yes drinks, beers too. It would be a nice water front hangout spot for people. YES, we are so going there with friends and families!

Hands down the best pizza in NY. The flavors are amazing, the dough is perfect and it’s artisan and super flavorful. You can eat the whole pie without being too full. I’m a huge fan.

First time trying this pizza truck. Maybe we had high expectations because of the prices. Our pizza was terribly burnt, we actually couldn’t eat it. Our calzone was super soggy & the filling was gushing out (even when cooled). But the flavors were there. Just really not appetizing to look at.

Honestly I drive an hour to go here, absolutely phenomenal, what scares me is that its dead when I go, selfishly I want it like that because I would hate to wait for hours for pizza, and IT IS a pizza id wait in line for. i want it “not known” but I always want the the business to flourish for them…Please try it out…
