The flavor was great, the crayfish cooked just right, so was the corn and sausage, but the shrimp, though tasty, was overcooked, and the shells were hard to remove. The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and gravy were good as well, but it was like good cafeteria food, not actual restaurant quality. The sausage and potato portion was tiny compared to other places that serve the same thing. Everything tasted great.

So my friend and I went there for lunch to have a great meal. It would have been if they would have known how to serve it. I spent over 80 dollars to try everything. And you could order your spice either mild, medium,or hot. But that doesn’t matter. They ruined the entire meal by pouring the spicy sauce over the meal and turned the entire meal cold. The meal is to be served HOT by fire.
Completely failed. You think your getting Cajun cooking until they bring it to you. It had a sweet and sour type sauce over it to give an Asian flair which was a disaster.. Sorry but need visit Louisiana if you’re going to serve Crawfish much less Lobster.

Josie’s has chicken, fish, and even crab. The service was great, very polite, friendly staff. If you are a fan of non-chain restaurants that are unique and have good food, give Josie’s a try.

Kind staff, they are multitasking for sure! Crawfish was great, the fried rice was delicious and buttery. It’s a very laid back type atmosphere.

We tried the CFS and the fried chicken. Sides were corn on the cob, mac n cheese and potatoes and gravy. It wasn’t bad it fixed my fried craving. I haven’t tried the seafood yet, so I’m looking forward to that.

10/10!!! Josie was incredibly sweet, my seafood boil was the best I’ve ever had. It was a touch spicy for my baby so she brought over plain mashed potatoes without even being asked and a water just in case 🙂 she also gave us to go drinks without being asked and visited with us and shared stories back and forth about family.
This place is super clean….

Guy is the only one cooking and was still amazing food and decent time. Doesn’t deserve enough credit. I got sack #1 and the crawfish and the shrimp were cooked perfectly along with the potatoes and corn. Sauce they come in is some of the best I’ve ever had. Wife had chicken and it was tender, crispy, and juicy. Hush puppies are delicious. If I could, I’d give this place 10 stars. No complaints.

First time eating here…the chicken had good flavor but was greasy…they got my instant mashed potatoes but forgot my girlfriends…her corn was ok….best thing was the bread and our own honey…with all the good places to eat here you’d think this NEW place would be better….not a good first impression…will go to chicken express next time..won’t be going back

There was nothing special about any of it. Mostly bland, frozen, generic food. Just expected higher quality.
We had chicken strips, wings (these seemed like they had gone bad…did not eat them) fries, okra, and a California roll.
The place was not clean. Floor was sticky all over, had to move one chair out and replace with another because the first had mud or something on it. I used a napkin to pick up the hot sauce bottle after I touched it and it was sticky.
Not a good experience for us.

I would give the food zero stars if I could. Chicken fried steak tasted like Tyson’s chicken patties and everything lacked seasoning. It tastes so bad it left a bad after taste in my mouth that not even Dr Pepper could get rid of it. I highly not recommend but the people are nice at least.
