The cut of the steak was perfect. I needed no additional seasoning or steak sauce. The baked potato was ACTUALLY baked not cooked in the microwave. The service was fast and efficient. Waitresses are friendly, polite and attentive and they serve Coke products!
Keep in mind, it is a bar with pool tables and games so it can be loud but definitely worth the visit.
Parking is limited during peak hours but there is parking directly across the street.

This places is amazing. I am in big cities for business all the time and the prices for the quality is virtually free. The staff is outstanding. Great sports venue. Everyone gets along, roots for their teams and talks landfill size trash but always in great fun.

I’ve been coming to Josh Bar & Grill for years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and service, but my recent experiences with one bartender have really changed that. The tall, skinny bartender with tattoos has been consistently rude and unprofessional. She is very impatient while taking orders, frequently yells “what?” instead of communicating respectfully, and rolls her eyes as if customers are an inconvenience.
This behavior is uncomfortable and disappointing, especially from someone in a customer-facing role. I’ve never had issues here before, but these repeated interactions have made visits unpleasant. I hope management addresses this, because this is not the level of service long-time customers expect.

I’m not from Virginia and found this place on my stay here. I really loved it, the place felt very authentic. The food was delicious, I order the shrimp dinner with melted butter to dip the shrimp. Let me tell you that bitter tasted amazing. Also, super affordable.

I had the steak BP and corn. Asked steak rare to med rare. Received it med well. Husband had the pastrami reuben with fries . He said it was good. Bartender made great drinks, we sat at the bar to eat. After we received our meals… she never asked how it was or if we needed anything else.

Was told that this place had wonderful food. That was a huge overstatement. Fried flounder was very very greasy. Coleslaw was too runny. Salad was good. Fried mushrooms were OK but lacking.
Atmosphere was good. Lots of tvs and nice pool tables.
Service was nice but slow. One person trying to take care of everyone was overwhelming.
If you’re looking for a bar, nice place.

Josh’s came highly suggested from a neighbor who is from Minnisoata “A”… I ordered the cheese burger over the phone. Once I arrived, the Josh owner greeted me. He said “I have the best burger in town.” That’s not the first time I’ve heard that I said.
Took the order back to the office to see.
Its seperatly wrapped and surrounded by fries. After the second bite I was convinced that my neighbor and Josh are correct. What a great handmaid burger – cooked med/well with fresh lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle, mayo ok, yeah the works.
Great burger – I’ll be back!
