This is my all time favorite restaurant in Sioux City. I’m currently away at college and every time I’m home for break I have to go to Jose’s at least once during my visit. The staff are very polite and recognize me as a regular customer. I love their chips & salsa, steak tacos, orange rice, nachos, Mexican burger, and especially their horchata!

I love Jose‘s family restaurant.
They have the best tacos, the best burritos, the best huevos con chorizo…there is nothing I have ever eaten there that I did not absolutely love.

Great place to eat! Food is great, can’t get more authentic. He’s a true business owner that is there everyday they are open and cooking running the register, interacting with customers and most of all is respectful and appreciated your business and don’t make anyone feel out of place or looked down on like the rivals across the street do. Jose deserves more recognition then la’ Juanita’s dose hands down.

Ive been eating here since I was a kid probably for the past 7 or 8 years and the food is ALWAYS amazing. The best comfort food in town, I always get nachos or, a burrito and a large pineapple water. This place will brighten your day whether it’s the food the atmosphere or just the great customer service I recommend everyone try it at least once!!!

We were traveling and like to try non chain local restaurants. Jose’s was delicious, I had the shrimp fajitas and whatever the sauce was is fantastic. My husband had chili releno, enchilada and taco plate. We were impressed with the fast friendly service.

I went in and ordered a nachos with beef and added avacodo to go. I waited about 7 minutes got my order to go and left for home. When I got home there was no beef only refried beans. I called and talked to the owner and he said bring in the food so I can see no beef. I told him I had already eaten it and he said there is nothing I can do. At least he could have comped me on beef for fee on the next nachos. I will not do business with them again. La Juanitas is more reliable and accurate in their orders.

Very nice family restaurant!! The menu is on a whiteboard in Spanish, but there are also hand-held menus in Spanish and English. Our server spoke both. The tacos and tostadas were good, as were the chips and salsa. My Diet Coke was bottled, but they do have fountain drinks. We were very happy with our food and service!!
